I can't believe that I am responding to this post, but here goes. First "Shucking and Jiving" is a racist term for the act of putting on appearances for authority figures, so "shucking and Jiving" is what players are doing when they follow the dress code, doing what an authority figure tells them to do, even though what they are being told is stupid. Your post is idiotic Racist drivel, how about I say this "How come it is always white players sucking, and playing terribly," And before you start I am white. You sound incredibly ignorant whenever you say things that start like "Why is it always black players..." And anyone who would defend David Stern is either, David Stern, or a fool. How did you get to be in the top "1K" with racist posts like this one. even if you are black you should be ashamed of yourself. Also from a math stand point, there are more black players in the league, so statistically they (Black Players) are more likely to be taunting, because they are more likely to be in the league.

That's the stupidest thing I've heard in a while, you sir, are looking for a reason to be a biggot. Brandon Backe who happens to be white was instigating the Cardinals lineup all Sunday afternoon. So I have a question for you. Why is it when black atheletes stir up trouble, there's a moron that sees an opportunity to express a racist opinion.

I can't back you on this post. Majority of NBA players are black, so naturally, the players doing the taunting are most likely going to be black. It really is that simple

The original poster has a valid point. Even though you have african americans making up the majority of the NBA's population, the white players do not make trouble nearly as often as the black ones do. I'm not saying it's racist, I'm not saying it isn't. It's reality.

First off, ignorance, plain and simple. Ignorance. Your comments reflect a close-minded, brainwashed point of view similar to the point of view that should have been forgotten post-1965.
Second, its called the law of averages, look it up. If 90% of the NBA is made up of black players, than 90% of the disciplinary issues should come from black players, right? It's the same reason why an inordinate number of the discipline problems involving golfers just so happen to involve white golfers.

Okay Wiseguy...your response is just, well dumb! If you watch the NBA you would know that every player taunts, cries, and everything else. You can't just focus on the black players. The black players are the ones that are targeted more often than none, but they are not the only ones. Get your facts together. Stern has very little mess to clean up...

Right white players like Bill Laimbeer, Jason Williams, and even Danny Ainge himself never got into any taunting or fighting themselves.
