I agree with Python. No way we can put a grade on this just yet... We don't even know if our last year # 1 pick is going to bring us to the promised land. Is McFadden our savior?
Maybe, maybe not. I'm concerned about the money we spent on guys coming off major injuries. At the end of the day, I can understand the frustration. Most of the questions we had coming into the draft may still need to be addressed.

I know A_A house can predict the future but how do any of you guys know how any of the guys picked will be good or not. Grade of an F. Serious.
We should have done this traded Fabian and the 4th for dallas 2 first rounders. Then took dallas first pick along with STu and traded him to the Cheifs for the 5th. Then traded the second pick from the Cowgirls along with LaMont Jordan to Cincinatti for there first and Chad Johnson. Then traded our 4th round pick along with D. Rhodes, Sam Williams, and Mike Williams, and Venus and Serena williams to the Patriots for there first and T Brady and Randy Moss (Just in case J. Walker and J Russell dont pan out). Then take our 6th and 7th along with 6 balls, some tape Gallery's Jock Strap and 3 undrafted free agents for the Jets 1st-7th round picks.
Then I think you guys would have given them a B+. But the next things out of your mouths would be "AL is an idiot how can he expect to sign all these players with our Salary cap situation"

We could have drafted WR Adrian Arrington Michigan. Reminds me when we passed up QB Matt Leinart because Al Davis believed Aaron Brooks was going to be the QB of the future. That, by far, is the most ignorant statement I've ever read on this board. NO ONE ever thought Brooks was the long term answer. 1986, you've been replaced by Hunter, haha.

Why don't we just relax and start this thread in about 4 years. That will be when we will truly be able to evaluate these players. So until then why don't you guys relax, have a drink and throw something on the grill.

Those "secnarios" you mentioned are outright idiotic, for you to even jokingly/sarcasticly post and for anybody who actually believed they could happen. Did i think a package of jordan & washington could have gone to a team like the Colts, Steelers or a contender for a very late 3rd round choice. Sure. But thats where being smart with personnel comes in. We trade away our 2005 1st round(7th) choice basically for a 2007 4th rounder. Not smart. We go into the draft with the #1 pick being nowhere close to signing that pick. Not smart. We had two 1st round picks 2003 & 2004 and could not trade up to get elite palyer in either draft to replace aging veterns. Not smart. And it will continue this way until al brings in a GM to help him with decisions.

Hey guys,
It wasn't me that made these idiotic moves. I mean c'mon our draft picks have bombed the last few years and it is not suprising that we blew our chances to improve our team once again.
I'm just as frustrated as any hardcore Raider fan. Its sad to see how OL Robert Gallery is a total bust and the fact that we got Darren McFadden when we have LaMont Jordan, Dominic Rhodes, Michael Bush and Justin Fargas is mindboggling.

Where is all this negativity is coming from, let's see, how about 19 wins since we lost the superbowl. Aww, but what the hell, Al isn't Al, if he doesn't go for the fastet CB in the draft. That pick was a given. Realistically though, after the first pick, we had to wait to the fourth to get our next one. I really could care less about the last four picks we had. We made the right choice with Run DMC, we needed a playmaker desperately. D. Hall for a 2nd was also an incredible pick. By far he would have rated the top DB in the draft and probably is top ten talent with this bunch. The best thing we did is not throw away our picks for the next few years by taking a stretch on someone in the third round. We will be better next year...how much, that remains to be seen. But we will be better. Two years from now, we won't remember who we drafted when in this draft (except McFadden), so what does it really matter...
