Most Delusional Fans in College football....

ANY SEC fan is the most delusional........

wow...... "Micheal Crabtree is to boney to be a Reciver in the SEC".....???? are you freaking kidding me.... FIRST, that is just Jealious crap talk... second, the kid gained most of his years AFTER contact.... he is physical. Third, The BIG12 has put in some serious NFL DB's.....

Why even make that statement... this is not about Best Conference.... My stance on that FYI would be pretty much a tie with the top to teams being the SEC and the BIG12, withe the BIG10 abd PAC10 tied for second. ACC rd, and BE last.

The guys at College Station ARE great guys. They are usally gentalmen, and carry themselves well into careers. they are mostly good-ol-boys..... BUT there they are DELUSIONAL about there fottball team....

Just like Nebraska. THey fired at great coach who had not ha a lossing season in.... well he never had one....... and fired him becuase they thought there was "no excuse" for not winning the National Title.... which with the team they had was possible, but ever since 2000, they are just NOT GOOD, and still think his is the TAMU of the 80's and early 90's......

BUT i do hear alot from the OSU, Mich, Miami, LSU, UF guys every year.... BUT THOSE teams usally have a decent SHOT at the National Title.... There are to many fans on here calling them "delusional" becuase they don't like them.... but they actually have had shots, but TAMU HAS NOT SHOT and still screas "#!" everylyear thoughtout the BIG12...

PS. Texas is TEXAS A&M's main rival, but just like ND, they have many rivals.... They are to PROUD to admitt that we are a rival... They do not consider us "worthy" of being a rival. they think we are the little brother... we are the annoying guys up north.....

BUT we kick there ass every year so who is the little step-child here?? And i am sorry, but when we have a statue with a Horse's ass pointed twords College Station in the middle of campus by using GPS....... there is a Rivaly... they just don't want to admit it, becuase they never win, and who wants to be in a loosing rivalry, its sounds better to them just to have lost to "another team"....

I'll conced one point. 

I'm pretty sure OSU is in the lead in the last 50 yrs,

Over the past 50 seasons, OSU is 25-23-2 vs. Michigan. 

As for the rest, a little research.... 

Michigan started playing football in 1879.  They've only had one season where they didn't play - 1882. 

OSU started playing football in 1889.  Only a ten year difference.

Michigan only played 34 total games from 1879 until 1890.  Not an overwhelming headstart as you believe.  But what exactly does that mean?

Michigans' overall record (not counting the 34 game headstart)  starting with the 1891 season is:  837-272-35 (total 1144 games)

As I siad earlier, OSU started playing football in 1889.  So, starting in 1889 (two seasons before my 1891 start for Michigan) is:  798-303-53     (1154 total).  Two more seasons than Michigan, ten more games, yet 39 less wins?   

Let's make this more interesting.  Michigan had a 34 game headstart on OSU.  Even if OSU played an additional 34 games and won every single one, they'd still come up short to Michigans record. 

Wait!  Let's not stop there.  If we only go off the number of games (29) Michigan played prior to OSU fielding a team, they only compiled a 19-9-1 record.  So, Michigan only started with a 19 game lead on OSU.  Yet, somehow (since 1891) have an overall lead of 39 games.

But, I'm really not telling the whole story.

Over those 13 seasons, Michigan went an impressive 38-69-5.  At some point, the leite OSU should've been able to make up some ground, right?

But we're the delusional ones.  At least we can beat an SEC team in a bowl game.  Reach the summit of that mountain first, then come back and talk smack.

  I said all that pretty my with sacrassium..... it was just about that one guy. you seem to have a really good grasp on College football. And I personally think UG should have gotten a shot at the NC since LSU lost to Arkansas......

  I am all for "whose better or worse" talk, but saying a commit like that is just stuipid. its like me saying "if Regie Bush was in the BIG12 he wouldn't have had all those yards"...... which i may or may not agree with, but it is stupid to say that.....

UNLESS you are not in a BCS conference or in the Big East..... were you play weak teams all year....

and before you say anything i must speak to the DELUSIONAL BE fans...... you play OOC games a year. You played 5 OOC games last year of the 40 possie against BCS teams.... you play weak teams.... and yes, WV beat OU. WV should not have lost any games last year. I would have lve to see WV vs. USC or WV vs. Geo....... that would have been great.

And before you call me "delusional" i can say that i think Texas Tech has a shot at the BIG12 Title, and a NC..... becuase we have 10 of 11 starters on Offense back, 9 of 11 starters on Defense back, the nations leading passer and reveiver back.... a great group of JC DL guys comming in to put in MORE Depth, even after returning ALL DL on the roster.... We play UT and OSU at home (the 2 games we lost), and we do not play Mizzouri or CU (the other two games we lost)..........we will be in the Top20 starting the year,

we have a pretty easy OOC, but play a 5 top 25 teams..............All of this comming off a Gator Bowl win, and a 9-4 record, which SHOULD have been 12-2 if not for a freak game against UT, and a dropped pass in the end zone....

I can be optimistic without being Delusional THIS YEAR.... but next year is gonna suck.....we loose everyone.
