Day 1 of draft is over.Who had the best day?

they drafted nothing that they needed.

well ok they got the "big" wide reciever that ben was crying about but c'mon a first year wide out is not really gonna make an impact on a team (well unless his name is colston).

other than that there new tail back is not something they really need. so all in all not very impressive.

very impressive though were the Chiefs, very good first day for them and 9 picks to go. kudos to them.

The Miami Dolphins had a a great day and was on the verge of starting to rebuild...

Jake Long ( OT ) - Michigan : Great way to start ...build your offensive line  - if Long turns out to be an "Orlando Pace" type player the Dolphins could be on the verge of building one of the best offensive lines in the league.

Phillip Merling   ( DE ) Clemson   -   Clemson : It was a question if a Defensive End was drafted Pro Bowl End Jason Taylor would be out ....it looks like Taylor will bet traded and wants out..so they need to start from scratch. What better way than to start with a young end....He lacks the exsplosive first step needed but can develope the skills to be a decent pass rusher  and probally will be needed soon with there lack at end  ( if Taylor does leave Miami )

Chad Henne ( QB ) Michigan -  I use to watch henne at Michigan and i think this was a good pick to develope at least a backup / starter to step in if Beck does get injured..hes a great QB with has great upper body mechanics  but needs to throw the ball away when pressured because of his lack of mobility but can challenge Beck for the starting job if hes able to overcome some of his lack of mobility, holding the ball too long, and tends to be more patient rather than run out of the pocket...but then again they also said brady wasnt going to be a great QB.

oh and i just want to say that i see you called him Big Sweed. lol
