I see Casserly's mock draft has Charles going to Dallas with their second first round pick.  I hope so.  He's from my hometown and I am a die hard Cowboy and Longhorn fan.  I think he will be a good fit opposite of Barber.

Most think he will go in the second round.  It will be interesting to see where he goes in the draft and what he signs for to determine whether he should have stayed or gone out early.

Damn, I just don't see how Charles didn't get selected in the first two rounds.  It really makes it rough knowing that he didn't go early and he had eligibility left.  I honestly felt like he could've had a Heisman like or at leat a Maxwell Trophy like senior year.  Good luck Jamaal; whatever team gets you is getting a steal.

It definitely cost him millions going from the second to the third round.  It's kind of a double hit.  Not only did he slip to the third round, but he also is going to a crappy team.  Obviously the big question is, do you come back and risk injury, but keep developing and possible go in the first round next year?   My guess he was told that he would be a second round pick at worst when he was deciding.  I think he would have come back had he known he would go in the third.  It's his decision, but I would love to know what he's thinking now.

He can't come back.  Once you declare that's it.  I wouldn't say he hasn't done anything.   The o-line was young and inexperienced last year.  They also had some key injuries.  Running backs are only as good as their line.   He played his freshman and sophmore year with a good line, but he was young and inexperienced and I don't remember how much he played as a freshman,  MB usually doesn't play freshman a lot.  He has speed, and speed kills in the NFL.  He obviously has a lot of other things to prove, or he would been drafted higher.  I do agree and think he should have come back and developed more.   My guess is he does too.

I thought as long as you don't hire an agent, you can declare for the draft, and change your mind...or is that just college basketball?
