MSN.com is reporting that Ty Lawson will be declaring for the NBA draft, however, he's not hiring an agent.... Smart move considering he's a low 1st to early 2nd rounder right now.

I think he'll be back along with just about everybody else from your starting lineup, which should make you the unanymous pre-season favorite to win it all, as much as I hate to say that.
$20 Paulus cries at some point next season. Any takers?
Love the avatar, hilarious movie.

seriously? "The 5-foot-11 Lawson averaged 12.7 points and 5.2 assists this past season." i can see nba teams chomping at the bit for those numbers. stay in school, ty. 2 years at chapel hill, and you haven't learned anything.

I think the injury this year kinda freaked him out... But this is also going to be an injury that the pros are going to wonder about come draft day. He should stay another season to improve his stock, because right now, I don't see him as a Top 3 pt. guard.

that's exactly what i heard, too. that may be why he waited so long to come back, to be sure he'd be as close to 100% as possible and finish out the season strong. however, as evident in the kansas game, he did not finish strong.

of course, i'm just a little pissed due to the fact that the heels should run the table with him back next year. i can understand the fact that if someone waves that kind of money in your face you'd want to go. who wouldn't?

No running the table when you have to come to Reno to play the Nevada Wolf Pack!

You must be referring to the casinos when you say "table"...

If he can get that guaranteed contract, then he should go. Same thing goes for anyone else at UNC, problem is you have to figure out whether the NBA thinks you are a top 30 player and there are a lot of other good players already declared.

agreed. i love my tarheels, but he's not as good as raymond felton was at the end of his sophomore year, and felton left after his junior year. i wouldn't think he'd be a top 30 caliber player, but what do i know? there are just way too many players that have already declared, especially point guards, that are better.
