Payton, I am so glad that you have found out who started this thread, but again your vague, pointless banter shows me nowhere where I get offensive. I don't have anything to defend like you guys apparently do.Nice try "slick"... did you honestly think no one would actually check? First page in response to someone who mentioned the Falcons.. in a non-offensive way I might add...
You look like an idiot. If that's what you call not getting offensive than it explains pretty much all your warped viewpoints. This entire debate is pointless as you obviously see and read only what you want and then twist it to whatever may suit your personal agenda at the time. Good luck with that hoss.. I really hope all the whiny ranting makes you feel better... at the very least it's semi-entertaining to watch :)

badsnap-

I got nothing but love for ya baby....

but I'd still like to invite you to jump on our bandwagon, too.....

Don't sweat the combative stuff- it's all just trash-talkin' anyway, just like mine, and taken all in fun- hope it's received that way, as well.

Maybe you should go cry about your beloved Mike Sick. Your just scared the Cowboys might be the first team to have 6 S B rings.  Ops,  My bad!

Payton, Payton, Payton.. Still trying so hard to upend me??

No, they didn't just mention the Falcons, as your vague point tries to disprove.. I am getting branded as a Vick lover because I happen to be a Falcons fan. A big, big assumption. Pacman Jones' troubles aren't an assumption. Dallas' controversial moves is not an assumption.

You guys don't realize how jaded your views are. I made this a post about some bad moves by a team, but you guys want to talk about the Falcons and how they suck... ONCE AGAIN, I know this. When you try and twist a post away from the original point and try and make it a personal attack on me, you will look like an idiot. I don't need to prove it to you.... If you want to talk about personal agenda, go look at who agrees and disagrees.. Cowboy fans disagree. Everyone outside of Dallas agrees. That proves it for me that the fans down there are self righteous.. I'm telling you, it's a Texas thing.. You're the only guys who won't address their team's issues. If you did, maybe you'd correct it and go somewhere in the postseason.

ezluv, I don't care how many rings they have. If I did, I'd make a post solely on that.. This is about them signing a guy who's been arrested on average of 5 times a year for shootings and abuse on women.

Eventually the Cowboys will have to deal with this because it's hard to change your life when you've been exposed to this kind of lifestyle for so long. He'll find trouble again, and the media will be on him to catch it. It'll make the move look bad, and make the Cowboys a bit of a laughing stock for even going for him.

He should be in prison like Vick.

If Pacman stays humble, he will be a good if not great player. T.O. for the most part has calmed down and kept some of his aggressions at bay.  If T.O. can look good, then Pacman can too.

check out the site guys. its kind of like fantasy football but instead of picking nfl players you create your own player and control his career. you can pick your position get drafted boost your abilities and it keeps track of all your stats throughout your career. i ran across it a couple of days ago and its really easy to set up.

I Don't know why any team would want this criminal on their team.  this guy should never be allowed back into the NFL.  what a disgrace.  what kind of message does that send to all the kids?

I hope the commish bans pacman for life.  theres more on pacman's rap sheet than tears coming from TOs eyes. "thats my teammate, thats my quarterback"  waaaaaa, waaaaa.

The Dallas Cowyboys and the fans who like this move should take a look in the mirror, and see what a creep looks like.

#1. Homers talk up their own team.. I never initially talked about Atlanta, so you are just talking straight out the other end. I am talking about a teams troubling trend of signing controversial players (hmmm, I think I have said that before... More than once).

I didn't realize webster had a definition for homer. I'm glad you are here to enlighten us all.

#2. What does the contract lingo have to do with it?? As an owner, you are only as representable as the players who represent your team. Positive light is not being shown on the Cowboys with this move. Usually you try and get away from as much trouble as possible.

Please oh please forgive me for my ignorance, as i thought we were talking about the whole Pacman deal here.  Isn't that what we're talking about? SO, the contract has everything to do it.  This contract is a binding document that forces Pacman to walk a straight line, or get the boot.  It seems to me that Pacman could use something like that. It also protects the Cowboys from him being an idiot.

#3. Jones... As in Pacman Jones. Not Jerry Jones.

That makes much more sense.

#4. Every team has standards too. It's not just about winning.. That's why you saw nobody chase Pacman. He's nothing but a handful of trouble. And he may not even get reinstated. I want the Falcons to win, but I'd never want Pacman or Michael Vick back to try and do it. You need to uphold some kind of morality in the locker room.

You don't know how many teams were considering Pacman.  The Cowboys just happened to be the only team publicly persuing him.  There could have (and probably were) several more teams considering making a move.

Here we go, more personal jabs. Should I be surprised? My mother doesn't have a basement in her house (assumptions, assumptions). And again, you know you struck a chord when they lower themselves to personal jabs against you  (have I done that?? Nope.. I talk to you like a fan, not a person. And as a fan, you are ignorant and still lack the knowledge).

Um... I'm pretty sure you were the first do deal a jab at paytonb when you called him simple minded.  I simply threw one back your way because i find your self rightiousness and holier than thou attitude irritating, and you dissed my friend paytonb.  So if anyone is keeping track, it was you who threw the first punch. So you shouldn't be upset to receive one in return.

If anyone here is ignorant it is youself, because you obviously don't understand the NFL.  It is as much a BUSINESS as it is a sport  Pacman will put people in the seats and sell jerseys, so he is getting another chance. Simple as that.  I don't like him.  I think he is a complete idiot, and i think there is a good chance that he will get suspended again.  That said, i don't care as long as the Cowboys protect themselves via contract structure (this is where the contract lingo comes in). Maybe all of this will help him straighten his life out in the end. Who knows?

Now I'm going to be out for a while, but, by all means, continue to pretend that you're smarter than everyone here and have a grande understanding of football that exceeds that of Jerry Jones.  It's good for a giggle.
