Worst writer on CBSSportsline

For the record I think it's Freeman due to the fact that his english is poor and his articles are often sprinkled with racist, prejudician and judgemental comments.

Although I think Doyel is a whore for controversy, he's a fun read most of the time and makes a lot of good points

I think Gary Parrish is a well-informed writer who I learn from

I think Pete Prisco is a bit a of a jack-ass

I think Ray Ratto is hit and miss, and when he misses, he misses very badly

I think Clark Judge is a little too full of himself

I think I don't read much of Dodd's stuff, but he always makes me roll my eyes

I think that for a fanbase that complains about the writers ad nauseum, we sure do read this site a lot

I don't have a problem with Freeman.  I don't read him much.

Mejia and Judge tend to offer the least bias in my opinion.

Prisco had a good article a couple of weeks ago.  It stood out because I think it was the only one I've ever read that wasn't ridiculously bad.

Ratto I don't read much.  If this article is any indication of his work, I don't plan on starting.

Parrish is a joke to me.  He's the guy who wanted to be important all the way back to high school but was too much for people to take.  You know the type - just too much, trying too hard to be smart, funny, whatever.

I've seen Doyel show up in blogs to clarify a point that was raised by readers - so, while I don't think much of his stuff usually, he definitely gets points in my eyes for taking the time to respond.

But what about something REALLY important?  What I'd like to see is a poll on worst byline pic.  Ratto's got those chins going that make him look like one of the guys on Saturday Night Live's Da Bears skits, but for me, Parrish's pic takes the cake.  I can't hardly stand to look at it its so bad.  Prisco looks like Tony Siragusa with better hair.

I agree...It's funny that if these people don't agree with a writer they say he's stupid or sucks.  The fact is these are all good (some great) writers and the fact that they stir emotions and make people mad is proof of that.

On another funny note is how so often a poster will go off on how horrible the writer is and use the worst grammer and spelling I've ever seen...Funny!
