What are your thoughts and predictions for this series and why? I think the Flyers will lose this series. I am a die-hard Flyers fan but the Canadiens are very good and I believe the Flyers got away with too much last series, too many shots on goal and many other miscues. Biron can't be lights out all the time. Towards the end they did horrible but still came out winning the series 4-3.

They need to step it up this serires if they expect to win.

Go Flyers!!!

All I know is it's pretty dumb how the two teams that came off game 7's are the first game of round 2.  Flyers go through a hard fought series get a 1 day break, the Habs got two.  The Penguins and Rangers who have been done their series don't have to play till Friday and the Sharks who came off a game 7 in the West get an extra day break and start on Friday as well.  So we'll have the least amount of rest, I'm sure that was going to be the case going into a game 7 anyway, but everyone else got at least 2 days rest.

Either way there's nothing you can do about that now, and all I know is the Habs have had our number the last few years.  It'll be tough to win this series, but on a short break if we can go into their house and take game 1 I'll become a believer.  It'll be tough to do, but as of right now I'm not so sure we can win this series.  Hopefully they can prove me wrong and come out strong and win in 5, because game 5 will be on my birthday .

Ah come on now - It's not whether or not Montreal wins it's just if they sweep or not.  The Flyers did great with a team with no talent.  Take it and run

I hear what you guys are saying. The Habs have definately had the Flyers number and they took the season series 4-0. They are going to have to play their hearts out. This is going to be a interesting series.

I chose Habs win series 4-1

Wow SeanAvery4, you are almost as annoying as the real one!

No talent on the Flyers?

Daniel Briere............nope, no talent there.

Mike Richards?  Nope, no talent either.

Jeff Carter?  See above.

Marty Biron?  He was just awful in the postseason wasn't he.

Plus Timmonen............who did a great job on Ovechkin in the Washington series, Hartnell, Upshall.  And they did it without Simon Gagner - the Flyers top goal scoring threat and without Mike Knuble in the last couple of games.

Philly had 7 players with 20 or more goals this year (unlike the Rangers who had 3 20 goal scorers).   But of course none of those players has any talent.

Plus the Rangers finished TWO points ahead of Philly this year, while the Flyers scored 35 more goals.  But again, they did all that without any talent.

Maybe you should be a little more concerned about how the Rangers are going to fare against the Penguins than how Philly will deal with Montreal.   But hey, the Rangers had a great season............you should take that and run.

Matching a more talented team is going to require alot of youthful enthusiasm and unrestrained fire to overcome their talent. A close knit group with a ton of inspiration makes a slightly more skilled team have to earn the billing, which I feel the Canadiens really don't live up to.If the Flyers play their way, there will be alot of goals and pressing the Habs to equal their momentum. If the Habs thought the Bees were tough, their in for a real assault and couple that will hot goaltenders and you have an exciting 6 game series. Flyers keep plugging away and send the series to Wachovia for game 6 please. Then who knows.
