I think you could have said the same for the Flames. The reffing was fine in my opinion. San Jose dominated the first two periods of the game and deserved to win that game anyways. Calgary took them to seven when they really shouldn't have.

yea the announcers were talking about how san jose would like to get a cup after the Ducks did. the only reason i wouldnt mind the Sharks winning the cup this year is because it would give JR a ring. he is a really good player that deserves a cup. other than that, im not really sure

What are you talking about?

There was so many calls that Calgary got. The call in the 3rd period on highsticking when Calgary's own player highsticked his teammate? San Jose didn't even go on the power play in the 3rd period and there were many non calls that Calgary got away with. And if Bettman wanted to sell the game to the states then he would have ruled no goal on the goal by Nolan which was kicked in.

It was clearly not kicked in. There's no way he could have stopped his forward momentum on that breakaway.

You're right about that call on the high stick, though. I found that quite comical. All in all San Jose is the better team and San Jose moved on to the second round. Congratulations to them.
