	the Vikings didnt win it already, but they will be contenders. all tarvaris has to do is hand it off to AP until the defense the defense brings 9-10 men in the box. he might not be that bad, he didnt have anyone to throw to last year, maybe with berrian his numbers can improve a little. the vikings should be a very good team next year.

	What else do those three have in common? All three of them have been plagued by inconsistencies and have (or will be) spent their NFL careers being "shopped". I don't want to see any more of Trent Dilfer or Kerry Collins on these boards, it's a pathetic argument. Furthermore, the Vikings D is no 2001 Ravens or 2003 Bucs. Jared Allen is not going to be this years Viking "savior" (wasn't that supposed to be smoot? oh I mean Winfield...nope I meant to say Kevin Williams...)

	I hate to say it but I think the Packers are still the team to beat. But at least the Vikes are trying to make something happen which is a far cry from Red McCombs and his startegy. That clown walked into a perfect situation in '98 and quickly turned the team into junk. Now we have an owner who is willing to spend money but spend it wisely on younger players. He may be a savior on defense who will open things up for other players but he's not the "team's" savior. Heck, the Pack had the greatest QB and DE of that era and only won one SB.

	Before Viking fans start talking foolish about going to the Super Bowl, lets win the division first. The last time the Vikings won the division was 2000. It has been quite awhile and that was with one of the best offenses in the league. Im also starting to think that Pat Williams will be hitting the old age wall one of these days, meaning a need for another big run stuffer to go with Kevin Williams. Could it be this year??? Kevin is great but i think its Pat that makes that d-line what it is. How is Chad Greenway coming along? I would like a report from a knowledgable Vike fan.

	DUDE, Kevin Williams was drafted! I let it slide the first time, but the second I gotta call you out. If you were refering to Pat Williams then, whatever you are trying to say makes no sense. Him and Winfeild has been playing great from day 1 As a Packer fan you must remember Tony Mandarich, no? Was he not supossed to be your savior back in 89? So, don't talk about that. Crowning the Vikes is too early, sure. But it is just plain dumb to count them out. STUPIDITY!!!!

	Hmmm... lets see if you can beat the defending champs before you start talking division title. The Packers are lookin really good and a I dont think a d-end that didnt do crap against the Pack last year is gonna push you guys over the top. Dont get me wrong, I think the Vikings have really improved and the race is gonna be between the two of us but Im not gonna sit here lettin you claim the title when you couldnt even beat us last year.

	The Vikes can't win the division without a proven QB...My bad, the whole division is unproven at QB..... The Vikes have the best chance b/c they have the Best Player (AP), with the best "D" line, and probably the best coach.... They have the best chance but have not won the division....
