The Vikes may have Jared Allen but I take Aaron Kampman over him anyday. Not because I am a Packer fan but Kampman has not had any problems in the past and also he doesn't just a sack monster but a tackle monster. He had 89 tackles once as a DE. That's amazing.

How the hell would the Vikings be able to get Thomas, Thomas is a hands down top 20 pick, he won't fall to the second round. Packers draft a tackle first round... mark my words

If the Packers draft an OT with the 30th pick, most mock drafts only have Sam Baker there. Is he any good? I would much rather have Green Bay go
30th pick-Cornerback-Brandon Flowers/Antoine Cason
56th pick-Tight End-Fred Davis
60th pick-Linebacker
91st pick-Quarterback-Michigan-Chad Henne
128th pick-Offensive Lineman
135th pick-Offensive Lineman
162nd pick-Best available DB
237th pick-Best available WR-Maybe we will land the next Marques Colston.

colwolverine, Baker is a perfect tackle for our zone-blocking scheme. he has been called soft, but Tauscher and Clifton are two of the best bookends in the game and should develop him into a pro-bowl OT

56th pick=Fred Davis...I posted that!
What about drafting Andre Woodson or Josh Johnson for a backup QB???
I think if we can't land a LB in this years draft we should move KGB back to OLB and replace Brady Poppinga! KGB is way to talented to let him sit on a bench and rot until 3rd down or when one of the other d-lineman need a break. Make KGB our version of DeMarcus Ware.

Hmm.... 5th and 17th pick sounds juicy. But probably not, they'll more than likely get Gholston at 5 then snag someone like DeSean Jackson/Devin Thomas at 17.
Now the Chiefs can go in a number of different ways. Take Matt Ryan at 5, then take best available OT or DE or WR at 17. Take Vernon Gholston at 5, then take best available OT or WR. Or take Branden Albert at 5, and then WR or DE at 17.
Good deal all around, if you're a Vikings fan you still have to hope that Jared Allen doesn't get busted for illegal substance abuse again. It would be his third time resulting in a 1 year suspension.
Dolphins signed Jake Long, and Rams are most definately drafting Chris Long(so Adam Carriker can stay at DT). So the intrigue still lies with Atlanta. Falcons have the 3rd (Matt Ryan or Glenn Dorsey), and the 34th&37th (Chad Henne, Brian Brohm, Dustin Keller, Sam Baker, Gosder Cherilus, Justin King, Antoine Cason). Who knows? Can't wait!

Allen is a stud and if he can stay out of trouble will help Vikings get to next level.
My only concern would be if were a Vikings is he is one incident away from a 1 year suspension.

In his first 4 years Jared Allen actually has 26 tackles more than Aaron Kampman. Over their careers Allen has 3.7 tackles a game and Kampman 4.1. I'd say that's pretty much a push.
Allen however has 2 more career sacks in 26 less career games. I think based on numbers you go with Allen.

Can Allen play QB?????
Now that's actually and funny and approriate response from a Packer fan.
However, most are saying we gave up too much, which is funny, why do you care or that your DE is better, which I guess is your opinion (wrong, but your opinion). Mainly just whinning.

I don't know what to think. The Chiefs get rid of their best guy in hopes Herm Edwards knows what he is doing in the draft. They get rid of their best guy right after giving Larry Johnson a boat load of big money, and he has done nothing since. Jared Allen has issues, all Chiefs fans know it, but they guy is still young. The money Allen got is sick, but 31 million guaranteed is same as what rookie Jake Long just got, and Allen is a sack leader, pro bowler, etc etc
I think the Chiefs got sick of him, his agent, and the risk of a 1 year suspension, other wise the move makes no sense to me. The Chiefs already have a ton a draft picks this year, you can't have a team full of 21 year olds, well.....I guess you can, and the Chiefs will. They have become the oldest team to the youngest team in one year. They only have 4 guys with 10 years or more in the NFL, Damon Huard, Tony Gonzalez, Donnie Edwards, and Patrick Surtain.
I did not think this would happen, and said many time on this board it would not happen. I guess I don't know these new Chiefs like I thought, they are idiots maybe.
