I have to agree with you. This was actually pretty good. I'm shocked. I really do think Brohm will end up being a better QB than Matt Ryan, but I really like the fact that someone in the national media gave Jeremy Leman from Illinois some respect.

I would have to agree this was a well written article. I like just about all the players he mentioned. The ones that stick out most for me would be...
- QB - Brian Brohm (Louisville) He's a first round talent even if not drafted in the first round. Is going to make some NFL team very happy in a couple of seasons.
- CB - Chevis Jackson (LSU) Jackson is a hell of a football player and could even be a star like Prisco mentioned if he plays in a cover 2...come on Lions draft Jackson in the 4th round...PLEASE!
- TE - Kellen Davis (Michigan State) Always thought he was a talented athlete and it will show once he get's in the NFL.
- S - Tom Zbikowski (Notre Dame) The kid is tough as nails he will have NFL success may never be a Pro Bowl safety but should have a long NFL career.
- G/T - Barry Richardson (Clemson) He's slow to play OT but will make a monster OG a team like the Jaguars or Steelers would be a ideal fit for Richardson.
- DE/OLB - Shawn Crable (Michigan) Crable will be most effective in a 3-4 defense and will need a year or so to develop into a every down player in the NFL. Patriots and Browns could be good places for Crable.
- LB - Tavares Gooden (Miami) He is a hell of a LB and just like Prisco said will play for 10 years plus as a starter.
- RB - Chauncey Washington (USC) A former starter for the deep and talented backfield the Trojans have year in and year out. I think he has the potential to be a true starting NFL RB has the size and speed.
- LB - Beau Bell (UNLV) The guys can bring the wood when he makes tackles...Bell can develop into a solid NFL MLB.
Just a few more days until the draft...

Yeah, this is easily one of Pete's better articles of his life.
I thought he nailed Shawn Crable, J Lehman, D.J. Hall, Tommy Blake, Bruce Davis, Tom Zbikowski. About Larry Grant, I wouldn't say he made "a lot" of plays. Lauranaitis and Freeman were in on 90% of Grant's tackles. He's got an NFL body. He can't rush the passer very well, but he is solid in coverage. He's worth a late pick.
Antoine Cason is the big one for me. He's going to be a good cornerback for a long time in the NFL, and he's easily worthy of a first round pick over Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie and Leodis McKelvin. If he slips into the second round someone is getting a steal.

Pete Prisco wrote a good article??!! The world's gone to hell!
Pete, this one was actually notable...in a positive way this time. I do think Brian Brohm will easily be the best quarterback out of this year's draft and is a reason why the Falcons, Chiefs, Ravens, and Panthers might not go with a quarterback in the first round. I thought Prisco brought up a good point in that he threw less interception than Ryan. Your on the bench if your a poor decision maker, and that's what Ryan is. Sure, he's got the intangibles but if you look at all the Super Bowl winning quarterbacks in the NFL, they're all respectable decision-makers (i.e. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, etc.). And another point I'd like to share is the coaching change that goes unnoticed. People forget that Bobby Petrino left as Louisville's head coach right before this year. So, Brohm had to learn a new system from Steve Kragthorpe. Learning a new system in one offseason and still throwing 30 touchdown's and 12(?) interceptions is damn good. I think he should be appraised for that, not sent down into the second round. Also, the fact that Ryan was only a two-year starter and only had one statistically notable season is mind boggling why he's ahead of Brohm. I thought scouts were better than that, putting a guy that has proven himself in one season over a guy that has been a three-year starter and has put up respectable numbers year in and year out, even when injured. When you put all the conditions together, I think that Brohm is the easy choice over Ryan. I will not be surprised if Ryan is a bust.

Wow Pete...you actually did your research. *Pats Pete on the back*
...and Tom Zbikowski will be a surprise stud for whoever drafts him.
