If you remember the "10 codes" when using a CB Radio (yes I am that old) 10-7 means "out of service, leaving the air."  do you think this is fore-shadowing of things to come in Baltimore?

Just flip the numbers.  Since Kyle Boller is most likely going to be our starter, wouldn't it make sense for his number to be first?  That way the team can avoid creating any bad omens , unless 7-10 is code for "apocolyptic catastrophe", then we're pretty much screwed either way.

okay... if you guys wanna make weird connections, how about this one. 10-7: leaving the air. But flip to 7-10, so flip the meaning...air leaving.... so not forshadowing the future but just telling us what has already happened...as in air MCNAIR leaving. lol..... that was lame.

Kyle Boller is way better than Troy Smith.  They need to start Boller, not Smith.

Way better, probably not.  More experience, yes.

Boller had the number 8 his first year with the Ravens.  He switched to 7 because he was a big John Elway fan.  Lets hope he miraculously discovers some Elway magic (otherwise he will be trying out for Elways Colorado arena league).

I don't think the 10-7 is neccessarily forshadowing.  I look at it this way:  besides '06, we have been "out of service" at the QB position since Vinny Testaverte left the team back in the 90s.

Well, yes he has more experience (Boller).  But if you weren't watching the Patriots game, Boller can handle pressure, and can throw 60 yards with great accuracy.  Troy Smith is a great scrambling QB, but this is the NFL.  Not college.  Boller has the better arm power/accuracy, Smith has the legs.

Yes Boller has the experience and yes he can heeve it 60 yards downfield..............normally out of bounds though, he has no accuracy at all and will find a blade of grass to trip over I can almost gaurantee it!  I'm not saying Smith is the long term answer (obviously Flacco is our future) but he is very poised and does make some plays under pressure. Plus I think behind closed doors he has the majority of the teams support.......
