Spring Game Thoughts

I just watched the 1rst half of the NU spring football game and wanted to post some thoughts and also to see what others thought about the game.

1. The Defense ALWAYS persued the ball on every play.

2. Joe Ganz looks like he has a great hold on and of the game. He make the quick and correct reads and then gets the ball to the target.

3. We are stacked at RB, play after play RB after RB as a group they looked good! This means that both the first and second string line is doing an exellent job. Helu and CQ looked better than expected.

4. Witt looked to be the 2nd string QB even moving to the red team for the second half for Joe Ganz.

5. I saw some hitting from our Defense

6. 80,149 fans the largest Spring game crowd this year and the largest in NU history! That means the fan base hope is temp. restored!

It was a beautiful day!

I wasn't able to attend the game, but thanks for the info! It sounded like a great time with the passion back and the weather was awesome.

That's really the main thing you want to see is that passion and fire restored with the team. They just seemed to lack the fire of previous teams. This year will be an interesting year in Husker FB and I certainly hope it's the platform to a return of Big12 Titles and in contention for National Championships as well!
