Well it seems that the Packers have rwarded with four prime time games. I am just a bit disapointed that we got dallas in Sept. I wish we would have gotten them toward the end for one Cowboys suck in the cold and 2 they seem to destuct at the end of the season. but all in all the schedule looks good the Colts game would have been better after the bye but I like the bye in the middle instead of early. at any rate this should give us something new to talk about right.

Looks like I will be able to watch quite a few Packers games down here in Oz. Why didn’t we get a Thanksgiving game I thought that was the norm for the Packers.

ozziepackfan, the Lions always play on Thanksgiving and we are just fortunate enough to be in their division and play them every few years on turkey day.

Odd that there are more prime time games for the Packers considering that Favre, who was widely considered the face of the NFL is no longer with them.  This will definitely add more tension in Rodgers debut season but I feel he and the rest of the team will do just fine.  On a side note, the Cowboys game would be ideal to retire #4 IMHO

peace

I'm glad. That means I get to enjoy some games at home.

The Packers and Lions used to play every year on Thanksgiving. I'm not sure when it started and stopped being a yearly tradition.

On a side note, the Cowboys game would be ideal to retire #4 Or even better, we should retire #4 against the Falcons

It's all well and good that the NFL gave the Packers the Vikings on national TV to open the season, however, the Packers also got the Vikings to officially unveil the renovated Lambeau Field and we got our heads handed to us in that game.
