Last week there were some upset Philly fans who thought that they were robbed of a victory against the Mets. However what happened was the Mets winning the first series of the year vs. their fierce rival 2-1.
Now this coming weekend is the next match up. The first game Friday night should be a dandy to watch.
It features Johan Santana vs. Cole Hamels.
However, I know that the Mets will be throwing out Oliver Perez on Saturday and Mike Pelfrey on Sunday. I'm not too sure who is going to be out there for the Phillies. I would think Jamie Moyer on Saturday and Adam Eaton on Sunday. Please, confirm this for me Philly fans.
Now this is another chance for Philly fans to get in on the avatar bet.
The bet: If your team loses the series(if a game is canceled due to rain and only 2 games are played and it is split, no one wins or loses) then you must have an avatar of the other team for 1 week.
Now this avatar has to be a positive one about the team. No Tom Glavine being taken off the mound in the final game of the season from last year. No Avatar about a player being injured or anything like that.
Lets get all involved here and if you agree to do it and your team loses and you back out, please don't come here again.
Sal this goes for you especially. Don't come here. You are a disgrace to this fun community that we have going on here.

Here! I'm in. I'll just keep this one handy. Maybe you guys will get lucky and we'll lose another superstar for this series. He'll probably get hurt while sliding home when the ball still hasn't passed the pitcher to the plate.

I live in South Florida so when I see the Mets play the Fish its all about the crowd noise saying lets go Mets and the 100 Marlins fans trying to be louder. Its kinda sad really
