The problem with your post is you just refuse to give Memphis credit. If using sarcasm helps you deal with this loss better, so be it. Most of what UCLA couldn't do had everything to do with Memphis. But you just can't bring yourself to admit that. You would rather mention the "glory days", how Howland couldn't settle the team, how they couldn't get the ball to Love or wait til next year manta non sense in your post. Foolish pride. Most people with common sense who watched that game saw the same thing, a better Memphis team take it to UCLA. Maybe you will see this fact after a good night's sleep.

for one, even though i put my reply to ur first post, i was actually replying to the guy below you who basically said that the only reason memphis won was because UCLA played bad. So that is who i was replying to. I read your whole thread, and understood the sarcasm.
two, are you seriously making fun of my avatar? It's an avatar. I change it quite frequently. And for now its a true UK fan (who i mgiht add is really hott, even though she is starting to get a little old, haha). So you are criticizing my for putting a true UK fan onto my avatar? Sorry about that. I have been one of the only ones trying tnot to post anything negative about Memphis as I have put the blame squarly only the players and coaches of UCLA. I wasn't aware you were addressing another poster. As for your Avatar, I love Ashkey Judd. I think she's a dynamo babe, I just never understood why guys would use women as their avatar. That's all. No criticism or anything. She is one of the most faithful UK fans that has ever been. Propers to her. Take it easy and have a Great Sunday!!!

I know that Memphis out played them and for that I congratulate them. I am not one to try and trake away from well earned victory especially when it gets down this far in the tourney. I am a Wisconsin fan and from a neutral perspective, I have to say that Memphis simply outplayed and outhustled UCLA. UCLA was extremely fortunate to even get this far since they seem to continually play down to the level of the competition. Unfortunately for UCLA they could not play down to the superior talent and emotion of the Memphis Tigers. Though you state that you will not blame the refs like the teams that lost to UCLA, you do just that in your first four lines! You are a big hypocrite! GO MEMPHIS!!!

Hey Shark or salmon whatever your name is.... Why is it that you responded to everyone that mistook your supposed sarcasm but never responded to Hoopsheaven; who hit the nail squarely on the head by pointing out your inability to give Memphis credit for outstanding guard play, a superior defensive effort both inside and out and setting the pace by physically outplaying every bruin at their position. That's right; Love couldn't get the ball inside because Dorsey owned his a$$! Collison fouled with 2 points because he didn't have the size and even quickness of Rose, who simply made the boy look like just that! Somebody had to scoop up the garbage points since our primary focus was on Love and Collison so Westbrook seized the opportunity. Your boys witnessed the speed, length and strength of Memphis early on and intimidation set in like every other so called powerhouse that we have trounced.
Sounds like you were making excuses for your boys lack of game rather than sit your pride aside and give proper respect to a team that has earned it.....
Just shut up and eat your crow like every other Memphis doubter!
