Shut your TRAPPER!

Seriously!!!  How many more people in Seattle are going to open their mouths and make themselves look stupid?  Does Mr. Starbucks not think that the public is smart enough to see what he is doing?  Quit trying to "save face" w/ the people of Seattle and just concentrate on selling your coffee, dude.  Your stock isn't doing too well.  Seriously, though, you are the one who sold the team and now  you are the one that is looking stupid trying to take something back that you sold.  Let it go dude! 

I thought Stampede still kept w/ the whole Mavericks, Spurs, etc and also still had the Native American "feel" that reps. our state.  IDK . . .  still playin around w/ it. 

Upcoming chain of events:

1.  NBA approves move of team to OKC on Friday.

2.  Bennett loses court battle and is forced to keep team in Seattle for two more years.

3.  Bennett cries.

4.  Bennett doesn't want to lose money for two more years and offers Seattle $45M to get out of lease.  Seattle doesn't bite.

5.  Bennett cries.

6.  Bennett decides to sell team to Balmer group who keeps it in Seattle.

7.  Bennett cries along with all the other poor OKC souls who come to SEATTLE SUPERSONIC message boards and try and come up with OKC team names.

Get an expansion team.

1. Friday April 18 owners vote to approve the move to OKC.

3. OKC fans hit happy hour and celebrate with a cold beer!!!

Bennett is smart enough to know he's sitting on a gold mine and if he IS required to wait the two years no problem.  Don't you think it would  take at least that long to get everthing together on another team, expansion or not.  Come on man, just let go of the rope, it will feel better soon!!!

I have to say that at this point the absolute best example of how stupid this whole move is was Stern on ESPN saying he hasn't ever studied the e-mails in question.  Really.  I never knew that e-mails were so complicated that they required studying.  It's simple, Bennett lied to Stern to save face and was caught.  The funny thing is that Stern just lied to the whole nation on ESPN just to tow the company line.  Stern's a stuburn ass.  He came to Seattle a couple of years ago and the politicians here told him to take a hike and that basketball had no cultural value.  They were wrong in saying that but he's being a bigger ass by basically saying " I'm taking my ball and going home". 

There is no reason we can't find a local solution and then set up OK City with an expansion team in a couple of years when the Ford Center is ready.
