So the Badgers are getting screwed over in the ACC BT challenge, AGAIN. What else is new. It will be announced today that not only are the Duke Blue Devils too chicken sh!t to come up to the Kohl Center and even out the series with the Badgers this coming season BUT the Badgers will be playing ON THE ROAD for the SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR and the MOST of ANY TEAM IN THE CHALLENGE in the ten years of the challenge. One columnist recently wrote, and I quote, when referring to the challenge (factoring in home games versus away opportunities etc..):

"UW's schedule has been the most rigorous of all schools in first 10 years of event"

It will be announced that the Badgers will be playing AT Virginia Tech in the up coming season as the challenge renews for yet another year. This is complete B.S. The Badgers have earned a home game and have earned a top shelf home game against Duke or UNC. To be those sad sallies are too scared to visit the Kohl Center. I guess ESPN's made for TV event wouldn't be complete unless the aided their beloved ACC coaches and spoon fed them easier routes to victory. I hope the cowardess sets well with the ACC fans. Let us know when you grow a pair and are willing to come to Madison<!-- END storySubhead -->

At least Duke has to finally go on the road this year in the ACC/Big Ten shootout to play Purdue at Mackey Arena.

you mean we arent playing maryland  or wake again?

for some reason i thought it was called the maryland/wake forest vs. wisconsin challenge. seriously, it seems like we play one of those teams every stinking year. at least VaTech provides a little variety.

Here is a great article on the subject. From the way I read the article it sounds like our own Big Ten ASSOCIATES Commissioner (Rudner) may be trying to sabotage the Badgers. You guys think Badger fans are full of it always yelling "conspiracy", well it sounds like there might ACTUALLY be one from the sounds of this article. I'll let you be the judge.

Variety in opponenet, YES, however in the ten matchups the Badgers have participated in  thus far they have had 3 home games, SIX road games, and 1 neutral site game. With another road game on the docket. The only other team that sniffs that is Duke but when you analyze it that is not even true as Duke as played 3 home games, four neutral site games and 3 road games, however note 2 neutral site games were played in Greensboro, NC and they certainly haven't had to play 6 road games. Read the article from the Cap Times, I'm startin to think something stinks if you knwo what I mean.

It's called a challenge for a reason.  The ACC is up to challenging their own teams to win at home against a very formidible opponent.  Therefore, the persons who set up this tournament think very highly of the Badgers.

Stop complaining about where you are playing and start winning the challenges instead! I hear all the time about how weak the ACC has become yet we continue to dominate the challenge year-in/year-out.

the badgers "neutral" site game was played at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. i was there, it was Dick Bennets last game. we beat maryland who was ranked in the top 5 i believe. amazing game.

GAMES are won by teams not conferences. Those games can be decided by the scheduling matchups, just sayin.......

didn't they get their "top shelf" game this past year?  i know it was a 16+ point loss at durham, but what do you want?  the heels to come to the kohl center?  i'd like to see it.
