The HGH squad (Crapner and Byrd) has been tearing it up huh? Lee will be the next one to break down, after Heavy C quits the team and enters rehab at Jenny Craig! LOL!! Tigers will be ahead of the Indians to stay before the end of this month!
All your old men (Polanco 33, Sheffield 40, Pudge 37, Todd Jones 40, Renteria 33, Ordonez 34, Guillen 33, and ROGERS 44!) hahahaha.
They're all breaking down! I'm sorry man, but I just don't see it from the Tigers this year. Their pitching staff is too weak. I know Verlander is solid, but how do you expect to survive off Kenny Rogers, Nate Robertson, Dontrelle Willis (if healthy), and Andres Galaragga?
It's called veteran leadership, something that teams like the 2001 D-Backs and the 2004 Red Sox had plenty of. Let's not forget that the rest of the Central is pee-weak, including your bungling Indians. If you think the Tigers won't win at least 88 games and the division, you're a fool!
You can call it veteran leadership, I call it various trips to the DL. for the old men on the tiggers. And maybe get Dontrelle some glasses so he can see where he's walking. LOL!

Yeah, it looked like he thought he was on level ground when he was reeling around the mound, and fell over. Maybe he was still drunk.
One report said he "slipped off the mound". C'mon, it's not like its glare ice there, or really steep. There is something seriously wrong with the D-Train. Glad he's on the Tigers and not the Indians.
CC's return to form is timely too since Jake Westbrook went on the DL.
Looks like Dontrelle is going to have a terrible year. He usually starts out good and runs out of gas. Nate Robertson is pitching as many predicted: poorly. Kenny Rogers is through.
Then there's the Gary Sheffield problem. His shoulder is not going to get better as the season wears on. I like Sheff, but he is done too. Last summer, he said he would retire if he had to have surgery on his shoulder in the off season. 13-14 million is kind of tough to pass up. Shades of Curt Schilling.
Tigers are in trouble. They've spent this much, maybe they have to spend more now to protect their investment.
The Tigers' "veteran leadership" of Kenny Rogers (43) and Gary Sheffield (39) costs them over $21 million this year. Add in Todd Jones (turns 40 tomorrow) and Ivan Rodriguez (36, catcher) and the total price tag is over $40 million. That's not how I'd want to spend 40 mil.
How valuable is the veteran leadership of guys like Rogers and Sheffield? Rogers is a nut job (roid rage?) and Sheff will throw his own teammates under the bus. Leaders?
