Considering how many of these guys came up through the ranks--from midgets all the way through dirt track and legends cars and whatnot--why would they complain now? Every other level of racing has a crappier-handling set of vehicles.
Somebody needs to look at this from a fan's perspective, though: these cars are UGLY. This is a huge step backwards, aesthetically. Why not build cubes and stick wheels on them?
Finally: it's RACING, people. What are you complaining about? You go fast, turn left for hours and hours and hours. If people want to watch that on TV and you don't mind wasting hours of your life doing it, then great. But to be in such a cushy--dare I say, non-working class, privileged...bourgeois?--position as to have the best cars and the highest ratings, and more money than drivers at any other level, and then to whine about minor handling issues...shut up! Is this a sport for crybabies?!
