Hey Tarheels Fans.

You need to dump this loser.  Yeah your team is out, but what does your glorious coach do.  He shows up with his old team's sweater.  Wonder where his loyalities lie?

Yeah it's great to show up for the final, but at least support  YOUR TEAM.  Guess Roy figured, I choked as a coach of one team, so I'll join the bandwagon of the better team.

Way to go Roy.  You showed your team and university where you stand.  Good luck next year you homer.  Wonder whose team colors you'll be wearing next year.

Peace

Hammer

Roy will be wearing the same colors as he did this year...Why would you think different?

This right here is the problem with sports...

A good man can't show some class, respect, and love for a former team of his.  He isnt wearing it to say I want back, and if Self goes to OSU he wants to be first in line, he is just classy...Kansas will always be a part of him, and even though many Kansas fans are mad the way he left, Roy isnt going to turn his back to his past, he is too good for that...

No worries

There has to be a place in your heart for the team that gave you your first job. It does look funny with Roy having a Jayhawk on his chest. Also nothing wrong rooting for your former players.

Tarheels,

As a fan of UNC, I can see you giving me the low rating.  I understand Roy coming Kansas U and wanting to support his former team.  But the reason I posted this was that he was a die hard KU member, and he jumped ship on them.  He showed no loyality to them when he left to come to UNC.

But his former team made a fool of his current team.  And I'm sorry to say that.  But Kansas dominated the Tarheels.  So he shows up with the Kansas logo at the game.  How do you think that makes the fans and students of Kansas feel about him.  Also how should that make the UNC fans feel about him.  Is he gonna flip again?

That was the whole point of this thread.  How would you feel if coach K came to UNC, and UNC lost to Duke in the final four, and coach K showed up at the final game in a Duke sweater?

Don't you think that would hurt.  Just an opinion my friend.

Peace

Hammer

Hammergod.. First of all, I can't take you seriously because you're a Raven fan. Secondly, Roy showed class by showing his old school he still supports them. The KU fans didn't seem to have a problem with it while he was sitting there. Trust me, Roy's true colors are Carolina blue.

Jordan,

I can understand the loyality to your first team.  But apparently Roy didn't show that love to Kansas when he left.  It wasn't a good departure.  So that is why I posted this thread.

Maybe if he had a UNC sweater on with a Jayhwak pin on it, I wouldn't have been so vehement with the post.

Sorry to upset anyone.

Peace

Hammer

hammergod911- I don't think it's a big deal myself. I would have been upset if it was a Kansas sweater, but there's more to basketball and Roy knows that. UNC fans should be happy to have Roy as our coach.

grogans,

So I can't be taken seriously because of being a Ravens fan.  Why is that?

So are you a true Heels fan?  I didn't expect the KU fans to be upset since they know what he did to them.  It was sweet revenge for them.

I'm glad to have good debates with true fans like you, and I salute you.

I just thought it was ironic to see him there, with nothing to support his team.  What would have been wrong to see him with something from UNC on his body.  Doesn't that make you wonder as a fan.

Glad o debate with you friend.

Peace

Hammer
