	The first thing I thought when I read this article was "where the hell is he going with this"? I can tell you had Imus made this kind of allusion to start a story on his radio show there would undoubtedly be another firestorm of controversy. Race is a sensitive subject and we need to choose our language a bit more carefully when we talk of two people of different races.

	What is going on here? This is a sports message board. We were talking about Vince and Matt. This isn't the place to be debating racism. Maybe the initial post shouldn't have brought up racism but everyone else should have been big enough to let it go and discuss the topic of football. This has gotten way out of hand. If you all want to get together to discuss racism hit up a starbucks and do it there. This is ridiculous!

	Haha yeah this is possibly the worst thread ever. Although i did enjoy someone suggesting that the man who'd just tried to argue that blacks were more racist and started by calling them "stupid coons" was in some way lawyer-like. I also loved the arrogance of the "your arrogance amuses me" statement.

	First off all I want to take a minute to apologize. If I came of racist, that was my intent. I did use racial slurs at the start of this thread because I became angry with the immediate attack on Prisco for being called a racist. It is frustrating when any time someone is critical of a black, or makes a joke about blacks, he is racist. I know that my choice of words was poor, and it was a mistake. If I offended anyone with my language, I am sorry.

	I admit my wrong in putting the word racist in the thread title...bad choice on my part. But if you read into something...and feel it...why not voice it. And as some of you may have read, I am not the only one who thought that upon first read. No, I do not think Pete Prisco is a bigot. Could he have passively done this without thinking that race may come into play? Yes, sure. I suggest some of you go read Robert Jensen's book The Heart of Whiteness: Confronting Race, Racism and White Privilege.

	But if you read into something...and feel it...why not voice it. I agree with spelling bee on this principal. Even if you don't agree with his OPINION, you have to remember it is his opinion, just like Prisco was allowed to express his opinion. T Sanford everything would have been okay except for some of the things you wrote in your first reply. Take a second to read that post then ask yourself if you overreacted. That is why your rating dropped about 40 points in one day. Also, are you sorry that you said those things or just sorry that people called you out on it with their warnings? Now go out and talk to a friend about the life of Martin Luther King Jr. to try to atone for your sins. And start dating women closer to your age.
