I consider myself a serious baseball fan, but it was not until the note at the end of the story on the April 3rd game vs KC that I learned Polanco hasn't made an error since 07/01/06!! You've got a guy who has handled 900 consecutive chances without an error and someone on this thread says:
"There is no doubt Polonco is an about average second baseman and could rate in the top 10 but to think he is in the top 3 at his position is insane."
Last season he batted .341 and scored 105 runs. He handled 683 chances in the field with no errors. What does he have to do to make top 3, go out between innings and wash all the cars in the parking lot?
Polanco is a stud. I didn't know about the poll at the top of this thread, but I'm going there now to vote for him!
