Wow, it never ends with the Patriot hate does it?
I am actually a New Orleans Saints fan but I admire the teams that have been assembled in New England during this decade. The Patriot hate is really pathetic. They are a quality football team hands down. Pats haters (if they were truly honest) would love to have an organization like New England that legitimately competes for a title every year. They would also love their own quarterback to play like Brady plays and for their defense to be as consistently good as New England's.
I have a theory on where all of the irrational Patriot hate comes from . . .
Most of the irrational opinions about the Patriots come from fans of the former dynastic football teams (Dallas, Pittsburgh, etc.) I live in Dallas/Fort Worth and the Patriot hate here is incredible. I think it is because these fans are really insecure about their teams legacy (esp. Dallas Cowboy fans). These type of fans would hate to see New England win more titles because they know the more these Patriot teams win the more likely they will be considered the greatest dynasty in the NFL.
I guess I don't have the blind hatred for "Belicheat" or Tom Brady, because I root for the Saints. It would be great if the Saints could be consistent winners like the Pats so I have to tip my hat to them.
