UNC playing the their best basketball right now!

UNC is hitting on all cylinders right now. I dont know when they will slow down but right now i just dont see it happening. We are getting serious contributions from Danny, Deion, Alex, Quentin and others. Tyler is on a hot streak and Lawson is playing better than ever. I dont think we will have any trouble with Kansas judging on their performance against Davidson. Ecspeciall if Kansas tries to run with us. We need to keep giving the ball to Tyler and shut down their stars and we will move on!

Big12alltheway, Carolina did not play Davidson at home, it was in Charlotte on a neutral court, but I do agree with you, Davidson plays a style that makes teams play that way, and that game will have no bearing on this game. The game Saturday will be a war, with not so much of a winner, more like a survivor. GO HEELS! BEAT KANSAS!

First of all Davidson might as well be in Charlotte, it is 20 miles away.  Carolina has been handling some tough compition in the tourny so far.  One could make the arguement that despite al Kansas has going for them they have played "down" to their competition, having had close games already despite not having to face anyone over an 8th seed.  The team that UNC was that faced Davidson early in the season has grown up a lot, as has the davidson team.  Nevertheless this thread is about how we're playing now and based on recent performance, you can't help beat give Carolina the nod here as the favorite.  Who knows maybe Tyler gets butterflies in his stomach, roy gets sentimental and lawson is hurt worse than he lets on.  Unless the situation for either team have changed a lot (KU for the better and NC for theworse), I just can't see how Kansas is going to win this one. 

Carolina has found a way to win games this year it would have lost last year.  The three Juniors on this team just seem to find a way to win with a couple of sophomores that have grown up. 

We all know Kansas is a very good team.  They would not be here otherwise.  It may come down to the last possesion but I don't think Tyler Hansbrough is going to let the Tar Heels lose. If last weeks preformance against Louisville is any indication, the Tar Heels will win with defense and Hansbrough just taking over on offense. 

But as posted on a different thread, it depends of which team show up.  Me, I'm just along for the ride and pleased to do so cheering the Tar Heels on.  Let's play ball.

I agree that UNC is playing their best basketball.

I truly believe that if UNC is hitting on all cylinders there is not a team in the country that can beat them but I do worry about their lax play sometimes. They can't relax against a team like Kansas. The second half of the Louisville game had me worried (flashbacks to the Georgetown game last year) but these Heels are tougher than last year and its obvious that they are hungry for the title. Reminds me of the 2005 team.

Saturdays game should be an epic battle of two great basketball powerhouses. I have the utmost respect for the Kansas program.
