Curry is unbelievable, absolutely lights out.  I love watching him knock em down but Doyel has seemingly overlooked a couple players and more importantly the overall team effort of Davidson. I'm sure Doyel was busy trying to figure out how to exaggerate a Lebron quote or something.........

Anyway, the biggest difference between Davidson and MSU or Indiana is the movement of the team.  Tonight was a perfect example, while Davidson was constantly moving, cutting, passing, and finding open shots against Wisconsin, MSU was struggling to find anything against Memphis.

Davidson is an extremely well coached and disciplined team.  They run precise cuts and plays.  No doubt they couldn't be where they are today without Curry.  But Richards and Lovedale have had solid games(tourney and all season) and definitely stretched the Wisc D. Curry only needs a split second to launch that quick shot, but he still needs a second of daylight.

As they said on the broadcast there's a reason Richards was the leading assist leader in NCAA this year.

Good season, Congrats Davidson

I am 100% a Wisconsin Badgers fan, but tonight, I was very impressed by this young Davidson team. I wish them the best of luck against a number 1 seed, and will now be rooting for them for the rest of the tourny. Tonight I admit that I was holding up a sign that said "Hey Curry, wake up and smell the FLOWERS." Now, at the end of Flowers's, Butch's and Stiemsma's careers, I am proud to say that I am a Wisconsin Badger forever, and I wish our seniors much luck in their lives. I have gained the ultimate respect for a bunch of boys who have brought their school a whole lot of pride, and created a team which belonged in the Sweet 16, and which I as young Freshman, was extremely proud of. Good luck to everyone else, and I trust that Trevon, Krab-man, Bohannon and good old Bo Ryan will bring us here and beyond in the upcoming years.

And he can't rebound and play defense all by himself, either. My friend picked Davidson to win the tournament to which I laughed and said look at their record against ranked teams the last few years. I'm feeling a bit embarrassed now, but I'm unashamed to admit I'm on the Davidson bandwagon, and I hope they beat Kansas (my pick).

NDAUB

This is my assessment of the Davidson team as well.  Curry is great but his supporting cast help to make him that much better.  Lovedale's defense and hustle were the biggest things I noticed other than Curry and his exploits.  And the constant movement of Davidson's players on the offensive end of the floor as they attacked the Wisconsin defense is attributed to coaching.   The discipline those players show is unreal.  The Davidson Wildcats are a very fundamentally sound basketball team and that is why they will continue to amaze all who watch them.
