RagTag, thanks for the good wishes. You've got a good point, too. These things happen in sports, especially college sports. I teach college kids for a living, and sometimes 22 year olds are on their game in the classroom or the court, and sometimes they're not. Not many teams could have handled Davidson tonight.

My team got crushed in the first round to a better team, just like the Badgers got crushed tonight. I have nothing against them, they just lost, that is all.

coachbil, I mean no disrespect, but I have to disagree about Wisconsin being the better team. When you get a chance look back at both teams' records. Note Davidson's losses at UNC, DUKE and UCLA. The Badgers suffered much greater defeat at the hands of Duke as well as two other top tournament teams Marquette and Purdue. Being in NC I've watched and heard a lot about Davidson and also been able to see the Badgers too. By the way, I have much respect for Coach Ryan and the Badger program--Not that it's saying a lot coming from an ACC fan, but Wisconsin is by far my favorite Big Ten team. I hope you guys are contenders for the National next year.
A kid like Curry who comes out and scores 30+ a night is a big deal. If you ever had a chance to see his Dad Dell play you would believe the soft touch is inherited!
I feel your pain about the loss, though, my Wolfpack team was picked third to UNC and Duke and didn't even go to the NIT! Remember, it could always be worse!!!!

Wisconsin has a great coach but zeeeez gys get some athletes, all it took was 5 minutes of watching them in the opening game to know they had NO chance to make the final four. The Big 10 was rated below 3 mid-major conferences this year. These teams tonight looked like mid majors, be proud you got 2 teams to sweet 16 it should be considered a Major Accomplishment. I read so so so so many people taking them up ,and to be honest didnt watch the big 10 that much, i believed em. Not tonight. How are they doing in the NIT

Guess that's why they call it March Madness--nothing predictable or rational about any of this. Expect the unexpected. Don't feel too bad though, The Badge--my Pac-10 has taken a beating, and I have to deal with the reality that from top to bottom, we've been way overrated. It'll be a miracle if even UCLA makes it to the Final Four.

 I know exactly how you feel because I am a Tennessee fan and it was the same way for us. Our team played the worse last night, the last two ncaa games between Butler & American were badly played, and finally all of the games we played after playing Memphis were really not that great either with the exception of a few but for the most part I don't know what happened. You'd think that your team gets better and better after playing all of these rated teams and winning throughout the season and then get to the finals and ncaa tournaments and just completely lose it. I really don't understand it at all. Tennessee wasn't hitting any of their shots, missed I don't how many shots from 3pt land and then they buried us at the post. What do you do when that happens??? Oh well, we all know the answer to that one. I gave you five stars for being truthful. It takes some courage to stand up and tell it like it really is without any sugar coating. If anyone starts to judge the badger's then you will just have to speak up and tell them like it is. If I see them I will stand up and let them have it too. Gotta go for now. I'm out!
