ok, Knicks, great, wonderful, marvelous job!

lets completely BLOW for a whole season, and now with a chance to get a top 3 lottery pick (aka, the most balls, something this team knows NOTHING about.. balls).. the knicks, for the first time in like a month decide to NOT lose by 30 points to a random team.

why dont the knicks do what they do the best, lose, and lose badly, so we can get PF Michael Beasley or PG Derrick Rose in the draft. We need more Ping Pong balls, not wins... at this point.

They cant do anything right!

I'm sorry, but I hate the Heat and I hate Pat Riley.  Any win against the Heat regardless of record sits pretty well with me.  You want to talk about a fall from grace?  Look at the Heat.  Just barely 2 years apart from a world championship and they are the worst team in the NBA.  That just makes me smile.  The icing on the cake would be to land that number one draft slot and take their hopes and dreams away.

Jets,

Yeah, the Heat are the worst team in the NBA....but look at their payroll and their roster. They look a lot better than the Knicks right now. And, they have a great shot at winning the lottery....as of last night a 25% shot to win it.

Plus their fans haven't been suffering for seven years....they just won it all 2 years ago. If they resign the Matrix they draft Rose, if not, they draft Beasley. Either way, they're gonna be tough.

Okay the Heat have been suffering for 7 years right? I as a Knick fan have been suffering since 1999 a championship we shouldve won. Let's not show any sympathy to them. If theres any team that deserves that pick it is the New York Knicks. New York was once the Mecca of basketball and wiht that pick we can bring it back.

Hey BIG he was actually talking about us suffering for 7 years.  Hell, I've been suffering for around 14 years since Game 7.

debo7apo1, I could not agree more.  The last thing we can afford to do is win.  Why couldn't we have done that from the beginning of the season?  Each win we get hurts our chance for a top three lottery pick, which means Beasley or Rose landing in our hands.  Why did they have to try and win this game?  Zeke is as bad a coach as he is b/c he decides to play his regular guys when least necessary: OT.  In the OT, he should have cleared the bench, saw what the youngsters can do in a tight game, and this way, they would lose.  Thank goodness we do not have to play the Heat again this year.  If it were not for them, we would have a winless month of March.  The last 7 years, the Knicks have found countless ways to lose and why when a top lottery pick is on the line, do they suddenly decide to play hard and win?  We need to lose the last 10 or so games for this reason and to make sure Zeke is officially fired.  Until the Walsh reports are true, we have to assume there is a chance Zeke may be back and that CANNOT happen.  He is the reason that the Knicks are what they have become b/c he put this joke of a roster together.  From trading for Crybury/Cancerbury/Babybury, Francis, Eddy "Fat, Lazy, I cannot lose weight and stay in shape" Curry for 2 lotto picks, Malik Rose, & signing Jerome James and Jared Jeffries to ridiculous contracts as though they were All-Stars, the Zeke era has been a disaster.  Until those reports are confirmed, I have a horrible fear Zeke comes back and if they finish off on a hot streak, those fears will only grow.  Keep losing, keep losing big (by 30+ points if possible), play the youngsters and sit the regulars as much as possible, and remove Isiah completely from the organization.  Hopefully, we end up with the top 1 or 2 picks in the draft, which means Rose or Beasley.  Let's do that instead of win.

Nice time to win A (as in, one) game.

Yeah, '94 was the year. But as Starks continued to hoist 3 balls on his way to a 2 for 18 night, I found myself on the verge of a psychotic meltdown.
