I just had to comment on what a stupid comparison this is.

Unless I'm forgetting something, TO's "troubled" past has included being an overemotional nuisance in the clubhouse, but an otherwise nice guy off the field(including the $300 tip for drinks he gave to myself and one of my buddies because nobody else at a celebrity basketball event was tipping.)

On the other hand, Pacman's TROUBLED past includes strippers, guns, paralyzed bouncers, and making it rain (although I think that one was hilarious, until, of course, the idiot wanted the money back.)

Hardly similar backgrounds and a terrible comparison unless the author strictly meant detrimental to the team in the locker room.  But if that is the comparison he is making, then it should be mentioned.

Anyway, it's this kind of "coverage" that has turned me off in general to the media.  They don't report stories, they report opinion.

Oh, and until the past couple years, as a 49er fan, I couldn't stand TO.  But the media changed all that by their ridiculous over-"reporting" of his non-situations.  Now I kind of like the guy.

Agreed. While an Eagle fan, I was and now am not a TO fan. But he has done nothing in comparison to what Adam Jones has done. One is a pest at times, the other, a possible threat to society. Both are incredible athletes. Sad. But in the end...Mr.  Jones has proven a lot more dangerous than Mr. Owens...who would you let babysit your kids?

Think about that one.

TO in a heartbeat.

No real comparison except the fact they are both arrogant pre-madonnas.  One manifests itself in the locker room and the other manifests itself in the strippers locker room.

Neither TO or Pacman have respect for authority...didn't TO go to practice in a bikers jersey?  Pacman admitted going to yet another strip club.

The both should be a little more gracious,  maybe by this time next year, with 1 year as a cowboy,  TO and Pacman can "cry" together on the podium after the Saints kick their butt in the playoffs next year.

As a Giant fan I will say I love to hear some turmoil with TO and the Cowboys. I do believe that most of it is BS and media created. But I would think for TO sake it would be good for him to have Pacman pickup some of the questions and give himself a break once in awhile. But I think Pacman has to decide for himself if he still wants to be under the spot light or just fade away.
