I hope a loss like tonight against a team like minnesota is the final nail in Isiah's coffin. I read that James Dolan still says he thinks Isiah is a good coach. He is probably part of a very small group who think so. The fact is that even if Isiah is the greatest basketball mind since John Wooden ( sorry to John Wooden for mentioning him in the same sentence as Isiah) Knicks fans no longer want him as their head coach and it seems, based on recent comments from david Stern, as though the league agrees. He has to go as part of a massive house cleaning that needs to send a message to fans and the rest of the NBA that the New York Knicks are moving in the direction of regaining the stature the team used to possess. We need a team that fans, new yorkers, and the league can be proud of.

Totally agree man, I watched this whole game and I realized something. I only like 3 players on our team and they are David Lee, Nate Robinson, and Wilson Chandler(and maybe Randolph Morris if he can start producing). I want to like Jamal but he's way too much of a ball hog and that is definitely not what this team needs. Maybe he can be fixed if the Knicks hire a coach that teaches the players how to play the game instead of sitting on the bench scratching his chin every freakin game. I seriously hope that David Stern steps in and does something(if he can even do anything). I would prefer if it would be sooner then later...preferably in about 10-15 minutes maybe...?

This has to be the final nail in the coffin.  They have been pathetic all season long and the only players who deserve to be back are Lee, Nate, Balkman, and Chandler.  I like Crawford, but he tries to mimick MJ a lot, especially in the clutch when he needs to be himself.  When Brown was coach, he did not do this but Isiah allows him to chuck up wild shots.  And Isiah cannot be even be compared to Wooden like you said.  In fact, his basketball IQ is the polar opposite of Wooden.  If it was taken, he would have to be admitted to an institution based on all the horrible moves he has made with the Knicks.  How does Dolan still think he is a good coach?  He sits on the bench with his hand on his chin the entire game, he does not discipline them for their horrid play; instead coming up with poor excuses to defend his scrubs, they do not play D and he does nothing about it, and the players clearly do not respond to or respect him.  Those are the qualities of a really bad coach and as GM, he brought these selfish scrubs in.  There have been public protests outside MSG and petitions by fans who feels that Zeke must be fired.  And even the commissioner wants him out.  Isiah is the reason that many fans, including myself, find it hard to support this "team," which they clearly are not and we once proud fans are now ashamed to say we are that.  Please, after the loss to Boston by 50, to Philly by 40, and all the other blowouts, shouldn't Dolan realize that Isiah is incapable of getting the job done.  Do it now, do it at the end of the season, do it in the off-season, but do not allow this monster to make it to the draft and next season:  FIRE ISIAH!

The reason that we are losing these games, besides the fact that we suck, is for the top draft pick. It is so obvious that that moron James Dolan is not going to fire Isiah. Instead Isiah is going to try and draft Beasley thinking he is going to get a Lebron and that he can be his savior in New York. Quite frankly, i dont give a rats ass if he drafts a Michael Jordan the man has to go. But we will never have a player of that intensity or quality as long as that "coach?" if you can call Isiah that is coaching him. Im giving the Knicks one more year and then if Isiahs there or things dont get turned around im not watching them for the next 5 years and im cancelling MSG from my cable. The only reason MSG is making money is from the Rangers and High-School basketball. Im just taking a guess but that's why we are losing those games.

Isiah makes it hard to be a Knicks fan. I find that I don't follow the NBA much anymore, that's all on isiah, I'll still call the knicks my team and try and figure out a way to fix this but with Isiah on the job I just haven't faith in them. Someone needs to come in who's willing to blow up this team and build SLOWLY around Wilson and DLee, with Nate, Balkman and Morris around as bench players. Add to that our first round pick and any return on the other players would be nice. I'd love if we could somehow move all of the big contracts and bring in someone like Kyle Lowry and I'd be extatic.

My dreams has the knicks firing isiah, picking first and Memphis picking around 6th. If that's the case the knicks have to turn to Memphis and offer them first overall and curry or Randalph for Kyle Lowry and their first. Then take a guy like Thabeet or Jordan to develop into a defensive center who can score. Then offer Curry for a basketball to anyone who'll take him, buyout Marbury, dangle Crawford and Richardson and see which one gets a bite. We still wouldn't be good but at least we wouldn't embarassing and hopeless. Lowry, Nate, Crawford/Richardson, Wilson Chandler, Balkman, DLee, Morris and Thabeet/Jordan is the start of something good. Hell a good coach and pass first PG might even make Randolph/Curry not worthless.

Umm if the Knicks get to draft first and trade down then I will shoot myself.  If Beasley's name is not announced as the future of this franchise if they get lucky enough to get first pick then I have no hope for ever watching a winning ball club in New York again.  Seriously, I think whoever we get will help this team out a lot, but he has to have the right coach to coach him.  Who wants to work in a place where all you here is "Fire Isiah" over and over?  If the NBA was smart and if Dolan was smart too, he would start this whole thing from scratch and get someone in here that knowledgeable and can work with young talent.  The only problem is that the longer they wait to fire Isiah, the worse it becomes.  Someone needs to step in now to start making plans for the draft and for next season.  Every day that this a-hole keeps being a Knicks coach makes me believe he's sticking around.

Zeke cannot stick around, not even as coach, no matter what.  He cannot get the respect out of the scrubs we have and he would be a horrible influence on young future stars in Rose or Beasley.  And like nyjets426 said, they will not want to hear 'Fire Isiah' constantly.  And you are absolutely right.  The longer he sticks around, not only are things worse, but the more I hate him and Dolan.  And I feel that if an announcement is not made about Walsh soon, Zeke could return as GM and that is my worst fear.  He is much worse than an a-hole to me, however.  What he is to us is so much worse than an a-hole that I am not even going to write it here.  He must be fired at all costs!
