Marquette's lack of any inside talent killed them. Dwight Burke was the only chance they had of stopping Brook Lopez, and 85% of the time that was an easy two points for Stanford. Marquette's other inside players were abused by the Lopez brothers. Marquette's guards are also to blame-Mitch Johnson had 16 assists and ONE turnover. If Marquette wins by forcing turnovers and running, uncontested entry passes don't do that.

Don't forget the hell of a game Jerel McNeal had. If he lands the jumper on the previous possession or Brook Lopez misses that shot, McNeal is the player of the game.
