Notre Dame faces the infamous George Mason Patriots Thurssday night. Last year, when Notre Dame played Winthrop, I was very positive that Winthrop had no chance at beating Notre Dame. But I was proved wrong. This year I will not do that since we are playing George Mason, a team that beat all odds 2 years ago and became a team that the nation fell in love with, except for those in polls. Notre Dame will have a tough game. This game will be like playing one of the 10-12th placed teams in the Big East, for they are good and tough, always putting out a fight until the bitter end. Notre Dame needs to control the ball. I know people hate me repeating this, but it needs to be repeated until it is improved, NOTRE DAME NEEDS TO STOP TURING THE BALL OVER AS MUCH AS THEY HAVE BEEN! This is what killed them against Marquette, a team that I've placed going to the Sweet 16. Notre Dame needs to learn to keep the ball so they can at least make it to the 2nd Round!

GO IRISH!

I have a few typos, bare with me.

...Patriots Thurssday night....

that should be Thursday, not Thurssday

...except for those in polls....

it should be pools at the end, not polls

I think those are all. We need a spell check on here!

GO IRISH!

Make GM play their game, don't get sloppy with the ball and the Irish should come out with a W

I think ND should win this game. Hopefully Harangody will be too much to handle and K-Mac will go off and hit his 3's. I have a good feeling about the first two games, but I just wish we didnt have to face Carolina in the sweet 16.

One of the few teams ND will have a distinct size advantage on. Harangody should be able to get some good looks on the inside. I understand GM has a double-double guy also. Kurz and Hillesland need to help secure the boards with Harangody. Limiting their 2nd chance points is critical. If the inside play is successful, ND should find some open shots outside also. Most experts are not predicting an upset here, but we can't afford to let them hang around until the end. A good defensive effort would go a long way to securing a victory. Scoring points should not be a problem for us.
