The NIT is stacked and they do anything and everything to gets east coast named teams in MSG. It's about selling tickets and it's truly a  joke.

It's like the WWF in sneakers...

ASU got snubbed in the worst way. They remind me of the Suns last year. Get hosed by the officials in a big game(ASU's was USC with the over the back foul and the Suns' was the Spurs when Horry checked Nash and Amare and Diaw get suspended), get penalized for it by getting knocked out, then when it could have been made up to you by getting what is rightfully yours, you get hosed again(ASU-NCAA tourny bid and the Suns would have gotten Atlanta's lottery pick as long as it wasn't one of the first four...what do you know Atlanta got in the four spot) Complete BS!

I wouldn't call a team "snubbed" if their RPI is 72.

I think if anyone got snubbed it was Ohio State, i mean how did Oregon make it in over them?? but oh well, its all over now and Ohio State is in the NIT and we have big Kenny George comming to play us, so i guess in a way we have a bigger thing to deal with then worry about why Ohio State didnt get in the NCAA tourney.

I'd say all of the top seeds have a gripe. Va Tech and OSU have better records and RPIs than Kentucky. I thought that they'd be in the NIT (maybe to face off against Tubby Smith's Minnesota team - that would be a must-watch). It seemeds like the ACC, Big Ten and Pac-10 would get at least one more team in. I guess the blame lies with teams like Georgia, who won their tournaments and got bids despite the fact that their records don't get them there alone.
