Andy's had elbow problems for some time, but this is apparently new, with the tendinitis at all. Doesn't sound serious at all though. Last year was one of his healthiest in the league and hopefully he keeps it up this year. Andy's not a conventional ace. He won't dazzle you with his numbers or with his pitches. But he's a fundamentally sound pitcher, a solid fielder, and a good clubhouse presence. He's also not afraid of big games, always saving his best for when the Yankees are need someone to break a losing streak, or better yet, in the playoffs. Last year was no different, if you recall the gem he threw in game 2 in Cleveland.
