Does anyone know when his case is up for review? I think it was a long year + to think about what he did, and he has been relatively quiet since. Unlike Pacman Jones...

Mr. High and Mighty is still trying to teach us a lesson and probably won't do anything until training camp!  would be nice if he would do something before the draft!

Complete speculation here, but I heard that he would make a decision before the draft, thus allowing the Bengals to fill his spot if he is not reinstated.  I can't imagine that he wouldn't be reinstated, however.  He has kept his nose clean since his last suspension, doing everything that was asked of him, and Goodell now has other things to worry about (Spygate hearings).  The only way I see him being held out another year is if Goodell is a complete jack-hole and has some sort of personal vendetta against the Bengals.  There real question is, is Odell going to be in good enough shape to pick up where he left off?

The last thing I remember reading on Bengals.com was that Goodell will make a decision by the time camp starts. Don't count on anything by draft time, though that certainly would be useful.

Yeah he was suspended for half of the year in 06  the full year in 07 and is still under suspension. The viks can have a pleasure boat party and not one suspension for that.

Odell has  a dui and its a big deal common. He made a mistake he's young. I have made plenty of mistakes. Goodell will have some scandel come out about it probly lol.

I say give us Odell and let pacman spend all time he wants in strip bars and out of Nfl.

Odell just wants to be a football player. He payed for the crime. Let him play!

Wonder if Goodell ever had too much wine at dinner and drove home. Opps he's over the limit cop pulls him over. Now he understands the possiblity of a mistake. Mr. Goodell please count to 10 one one thousand.

I thought early this year Goodell gave Odell Thurman permission to start working out at the Bengals facilities.  Seems like a good indication he will be reinstate.  Let's hope. This kid could change our defense.

Yeah, 4 games for substance abuse (alcohol), then while on suspension he got a DUI (with Reggie McNeal and Chris Henry in the backseat), and got an automatic 1 year. I don't think anyone blamed anyone other than Thurman for that. The slap in the face was after the 1 year suspension three things happened in a week: (1) Koren Robinson was reinstated, (2) Thurman's judge told him that he was doing a great job recovering, and (3) Goodell added another year to Odell's suspension without explanation. Then Odell filed a lawsuit. That's the last we heard of anything until Odell was cleared to practice.

As for reinstatement, a ruling would be great if it came before the draft. That being said, I don't expect the league to do any favors for the Bengals based upon the past. I do agree that Spygate is probably the #1 thing on the commissioner's desk right now, and quite frankly I do like that. While I think Goodell has done good, his lack of consistency in dealing with teams and the lack of checks and balances really doesn't sit well with me, and the Thurman case is a prime example of this. I still think Thurman should have been back before Chris Henry, and the way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Vick suits up before Thurman does

I completely agree, RANG73. Honestly, have you really heard of him since his suspension? No, he has kept a low profile and is ready to play football. If Goodell lets him play, Pollack comes back, this Odom guy does well AND we get a decent LB/DT/DE in the draft, our defense could be much improved compared to last year.
