Do you guys see the Pats running more next year?  I believe Maroney could be a solid number 2 back.  I have  Gore, Willis M, Turner, Maroney, Benson and Fargas on my team.  I will probablu keep 3 or 4 of them.

I think Maroney is an excellent back- as he proved in the playoffs when they actually attempted to run the ball.  I say this after cursing him almost all fantasy season last year- he was a less than stellar performer week in and week out. If NE runs the ball more this year, which I believe they will have too- it shoul be a very good sseason for Maroney.

The problem I see is that he doesn't catch much out of the backfield. Most of the short passes go to Welker and not to Maroney. He'll do alright running the ball but especially in PPR leagues I think he's not a #2 back.

I think the Pats will def run more next year. If they would have decided to do it in the Super Bowl, they would not have lost. Maroney, if healthy, is a very productive back. He is definitely worth a keeper.

Gore is also definitely worth a keeper, as he is the 49ers entire offense.

Willis should be worth a keeper too, as Baltimore is committed to the run.

Turner may be worth a keeper as well, but the Falcons offense may not produce much.

Benson and Fargas are in no way keepers. Al Davis may just draft McFadden, and Fargas already has plenty of competition there already. Benson is just plain horrible. He does not seem to be an NFL RB and the Bears do not seem committed to him anymore.

Two things - Gore is the 49ers offense, but that's not much of an offense. Just as you said about the Falcons. Literally every 49er opponent can stuff the box and shut down the running game as long as there's no passing game.

Secondly I doubt that the Raiders can afford to pick McFadden. He's just too expensive, especially after the (doubtful) signing of Walker. They'll go D or O-line in the draft first.
