I think a major problem was the in Alford's last year they made the Sweet 16 so MSU fans thought after that, that they should make the tourney every year.

Hey dan, i'm gonna have to leave and it sucks because there are some good games on tonight. I have to go up to the high school to see her in a play for the school. Well, i don't know if i'm gonna get back on or not, but i should be on tomorrow.

Yea, Beavers are winless in the Pac-10 and host both Arizona teams to close out the year.
Anyone think they'll pull an upset or finish with the dreaded goose-egg? (tonight Arizona, saturday asu).
I'm hoping UConn gets revenge on Providence today. Providence was the last team that beat UConn before their started their huge winning streak. Go Huskies.

I agree, unfortunately, but it'd be nice. Zona probably won't make the tournament; they're in about as bad of shape as Syracuse, so maybe they'll be just uninspired enough to help the Beaves out tonight.

I guess I'll answer any questions that any of you might have.
To stay on topic, Oregon State will not win a Pac-10 game this season. They have lost 18 straight, and have losses to Tennessee Tech, Colorado State, Montana State, and Alaska-Fairbanks. I've seen a lot of them this season watching a lot of Pac-10 games, and they look awful as shown by their record.

ucla. stanford doesn't have the guard play that can match collison and westbrook. i can see kevin love having a good game against the defensively superior brook lopez. kevin love plays with more of an edge that will probably show tonight when he gets a lot of offensive rebounds. stanford doesn't need this game as much as ucla, for the #1 seed. also its in ucla. ucla by 12.

If UCLA wins, they clinch the Pac-10 regular season title. I think the Bruins need this game more since they are fighting for a #1 seed.
You can also argue that Stanford needs this more. Most brackets I have seen have them as a 3 seed. I currently have them as a 2 seed in my latest bracket (updated this morning). If Stanford wants to hold off Texas, Wisconsin, Georgetown, and Louisville , they have to win this game.

Well it sounds like one of the UConn players has been shooting his mouth and it may come back to bite him. Not really smart to make declarations about another team and what you are going to do -- especially going into their home when they are fighting for their lives.
I do think UConn will gets tons of calls their way, as they always seem to get more FTs than opponents -- heck even the annoucers and others comment on that fact. But I just don't know -- Providence can be scary if they are clicking and anyone who doesn't realize it going in there is just dumb.

i agree. but also if the chips fall the right way Stanford could get a 1 seed.
Here is how.
Step 1. Win tonight=Duh Thanks to The Lopez twins outplaying Love
Step 2. Duke beats UNC Staruday because Duke is home.
Step 3. Kansas looses early preferbly in the first round of the big 12 tournament. Becasue they will probolly loose focus nad get a tough draw who has nothing to loose.
Step 4. Enjoy Watching the cardinal go all the way to San Antonio after getting the one seed.

Clemson and Connecticut are both struggling against below average teams on the road. I feel that both teams are locks for the NCAA Tournament, but this will hurt their seed a little bit if they lose.
