Gordon is missing more than luck..........he still doesn't have his "Man Card"Huh? I think impregnating a supermodel qualifies him for the Class "A" Man Card. What have you done to earn yours?
Has the gap closed? Yes. The reason why is more because they aren't flip-flopping in and out of the COT car like they did last year. It has to make a big difference for all teams to only have to worry about using 1 type of car. Another big reason why Roush is closing the gap is Robbie Reiser. He is making most of the Roush cars better (most because McMurray hasn't shown anything). Edwards and Kenseth have looked strong, and Biffle is showing what made him a force in 2005. Ragan even showed improvement with 7th place finish at Vegas.
Hey Rockflo- haven't you noticed, most of the super models are into TOOLs.....I mean WORLD CLASS TOOLS.........Seal, Lyle Lovitt, look at what Brittney Spears married and the tool she is dating now.
At least he finnally manned up last year when he shoved Kennseth, even though there were 10 officials right there and he had his helmet on......I think he should keep it on all the time...................
Just gettin' some jabs in to get you Gordo fans all worked up..................
Fitz, I did think that it was funny that Jeff left his helmet on when he shoved Kenseth. You are right; no need being thin-skinned. It's all in good fun and we're all friends, right? Put 'er ther, Pal!
Besides, you should see the goofball my beautiful wife married!

Fitz.. normally it takes a whole lot to tick me off but, for some reason you are the only person on these boards that has ever accomplished this. Don't poke your chest out in pride I just think it's the kind of day I'm having.... but, if you have nothing better to do than aggravate GORDON fans fitzboy than I feel sorry for you. And by the way if Super Models marry Tools I guess I'd hate to see what got you. LOL!!
They are fine. Jr. isn't nervous anymore and after that 2nd place finish je should be hot. Jimmie and Gordon didnt finish well. But with dale in 2nd i think that they are still pumped and ready to win.
fitzman, you really are out of touch aren't you..
1st you state that HMS maybe in trouble based on what you've seen so far..
then you act like their only hope for success rides with Jr. who you refer to as a " great Driver "
1st off Jeff and Jimmy have both been up front each race except Jimmy at Vegas.. which means that HMS has not lost anything as far as getting the cars right goes.. bad luck has prevented them from being there at the end but that has to change.. of course their not going to have the year they did last year, nor will the Patriot's have the same year next year that they did this.. that's asking a bit much.. but they will both finish ahead of Jr. in points for sure at seasons end, I can make this statement because they have already proven that they are " great Drivers" with Jr. that remains to be seen..
they will be just fine and all your hoping won't change that..
I hate to be a guy defending Jeff Gordon but Jeff is not a tool. I have met him on several occaisions thru mutual friends and family. He is a good guy, A lot more down to earth than a lot of people give him credit for. He is not afraid to go after somebody. With or without a helmet. About 5-6 years ago he punched out Mike Bliss at the airport after a race.
The bottom line is the guy can drive. I think HMS is going to have 3 of 4 cars in the chase and will be the favorites to win the championship again. They have ran decent this year other than Jimmy at vegas and Casey racing on water. I think all the other teams have caught up with HMS but Hendrick still has 2 great champions racing for him and I think that everybody else are the ones in trouble.
Three races in and we're predicting HMS doom? Hilarious
Must be wishful thinking.
It really makes you laugh when you read another of the endless JG bashing posts, all you need to do is compare Jeff's hardware with the driver of your choices hardware,
Damn......You guys are really sensitive!! I'm not trying to piss anyone off, just like the debate. and read my whole post, I do have respect for Gordo and JJ, you don't win a championship by accident, accept maybe Kenseth in the one win season.
It will be interesting to see Gordon and JJ fight through adversity (if there even is any adversity). I believe good teams/drivers find a way to get back on the winning track (no pun intended). That's one of things that makes NASCAR, and other sports, so interesting.
Right on this one G24, he followed him around so much he picked up on the moves, you can see it when he running down the field. Is Hendrick in trouble, no way, there are 4 of them driving around with Bulls Eyes on the backs, thats all anyone talks about is the Hendrick team, well its a team, and we will soon get tired of seeing them 1,2,3 we know its coming. Somebody said it earlier in the year "its the NY Yankees of Nascar" its just a matter of time, just with racing alot more elements that can get thrown in the mix, wrecks, mechanical failure.
Jr. is going to be fine, he's been up front on just about all of the races which shows it was the cars he was driving for his old team. He will get plenty as well Jeff and JJ, I said it at the begining of the year, these guys will have to start drawing straws to who gets to win that week. The pontenntial for domination lurks large here, 3 top cars, 3 top drivers and if and when they are all dialed in, they will hold off anybody in he field, there are 3(4) of them against?
In a word NO! I amd NOT a Rick Hendrick fan and probably never will be but Hendrick Motor Sports is not in trouble. Just because 3 races are in the books and a Hendrick car hasn't been in victory lane that means they're in trouble? I guess I missed something.
you don't win a championship by accident, accept maybe Kenseth in the one win season.
Fitz - That's what you call consistencey. It's also the reason NASCAR changed the system because they didn't like it when Kenseth won. Terry Labonte did it as well and there was no outcry to change it then. Why might that be? Because he was driving for Rick Hendrick? Anybody else have any other thoughts?...bluejay
it is too early in the season to knock anybody of the race....you never know which driver is going to blow an engine and take out half the field....couple of the driver have had a little bad luck so far this season but it just started....
