You'll be fine at Northwestern, I've said it once that it will go something like this:

NW will build a 1st Half lead making your defense look stupid with the Princeton Offense, only to let it slip away with turnovers, missed point blake shots, and just overall boneheaded plays.  Then the second half will start and your defense will finally figure it out, and stop NW from scoring and then again capitalize on NW turnovers and bonehead plays and win the game by 10+.  Of course NW tried something different tonight and got behind early and tried to play catch up the entire game, still didn't work.

I hate to bring it up but Purdue had to visit all of the top teams courts.  Wisconsin skipped going to Breslin.  Its no surprise they are champs.

... and if they would've taken care of business like Wisconsin did at Indiana or OSU, we wouldn't be having this discussion.  Rules are rules, this is how the Big 10 format is so no need for the sour grapes at this point.  Nobody was talking about the unbalanced schedule when Purdue controlled their own destiny.

I posted that same comment last week on the Wisconsin boards.  MSU hasn't lost a Big Ten game at home this year, kind of like a team in West Lafayette I know.  They smashed IU at their place so I'm not so sure Wisconsin would have taken care of business.

Anyways this isn't a jab at Wisconsin or its fans because they didnt pick the schedule, but I'm just saying looking at the schedules I'm not surprised.  IU should have had an inside track too (not going to Purdue) but they couldn't hold their home court down.

I was hoping there were still a few Boiler fans on the boards somewhere.  I was also kind of hoping you were still crying about beating us twice.  Looks like a few of you aren't quite ready to concede to the fact that Wisconsin is better than you are, although that does make some sense, when you attempt the put yourself in their shoes narrow minded thinking view, considering you beat us twice.  However, as we are all well aware, they don't hand out conference titles based on head to head matchups.  Unfortunately for you guys they give them out based on ALL of the conference wins and losses.  It would appear at this point that you've got one more conference loss than we do.  So sad.  Good luck in against IU in the conference tournament.  We'll be waiting if you bet them.  Also good luck with your 4 or 5 seed in the NCAA's.  I'm sure you won't get screwed over by the selection committee.  Good Day!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a team with 2 conference losses should win the conference over a team with 3.  I'd say as an overall team, Wisconsin is better.  We're like mirror images of each other except Wiscy has more experienced leaders in Hughes and Butch, and a better presence inside.  That can be huge come tourney time, but we'll wait and see.

Oh, and we still beat you twice.

Ok, congrats on beating UW twice.  LOL  How is second or third place feeling?  LOL

With your logic Maryland is better than North Carolina.  North Carolina lost AT HOME to Maryland - and that is their only meeting.  I guess Maryland should be number one.  LOL

This is some good stuff...we still have three more solid years of teams hating the Boilermakers!

Crips almighty, when did the Badger faithful turned into morons.  Yes you are the Big 10 champs, congrats you derserve the title I have said that many times, but head to head you HAVE TO CONCEDE that Purdue is JUST AS GOOD as the Badgers are.  What is so hard about saying that, the proof is on the court.  Yeah it would had been nice if UW went up to MSU, but it didn't happen, but I'm sick and tired of listening to you F**king idiots coming over here and claiming supremacy. As it stands you are one loss better then Purdue in this conference, its not like y
