a possible Knicks-warriors deal. It's not just monta but i'm seeing this Elton Brand thing causing a domino effect or ripple effect that will reach the garden. the Warriors don't have many players on there roster according to realgm.com. they have the money to spend and the expiring contract of Al Harrington (dantoni likes shooting pf's). then you add in Monta Ellis in a sign and trade to pair up with duhon and crawford. some other players would have to be involved. lets say:

randolph, lee, nate, collins, Jerome James, jared jefferies for Harrington (sign and trade of monta ellis) like 4 years for 36 mill. (9 mill ave. a year), Marco Belinelli (to give gallinari a peer on the team). then the knicks can release or trade marbury for draft picks and a collection of expiring contracts.

the team would begin to take shape

Curry
harrington, rose, and 4 players aquired for marbury will come off books for 2010.
chandler
ellis
duhon

bench would include gallinari, qrich, crawford, rose, balkman, belinelli and the rest of the players would be obtained from the marbury trade. harrington, rose and 4 players in marbury trade will come off the books. 6 total players.

Chris Duhon is horrible.  Why would the Bulls want to resign him?  He had a good game here and there and that is it.  He was always late for pratice.  He had a nightlife problem as well!!  Not going to change in the big apple. In fact it may get worse. As a Bulls fan I am glad he is gone.  Back up point guards are a dime a dozen.  Especially usless ones.  No Bulls fan should worry about his departure to the New York Knicks.  It will just make them worse then they are now. That should make Chicago Bulls fans happy!!

Ctur shut up......he left the Bulls so what. move on. You dont have to bad mouth the guy on every post made about him. I was actually pulling a henrich trade or deal, but we got duhon. Still good to me. I wont bad mouth him till I see results. You shouldnt either. He is entering in a new offense that could possibly be better for him than the Bulls. Ever think of that?

Please, there are at least 20 guards in the NBDL as good as Duhon. No big loss. If Hinrich goes , I'm sure we'll sign someone who can give Rose a rest for next to no salary. Since Gordon can't dribble without hitting his foot, It won't be him, even if he's still here.

You can't blame Duhon for wanting more playing time.  It was a good move for him.  Hinrich isn't the one that needs to move, it's Gordon.  Hinrich will definitely benefit from playing with Rose, a guard that can hit a moving target.  Hinrich is more of a shooting guard and his specialty in college was the spot up jumper from a perfect pass.  This will definitely put Hinrich back into his comfort zone and make him more effective.  Gordon is an undersized shooting guard that doesn't employ the team first mentality needed for the pro game. I would sign and trade Gordon.  Duhons' loss to the Bulls is a shame, but as I said, it was a good move for him.  The Bulls also have a second year rookie in JamesOn Curry that has yet to see the court.  They may have seen something in practice that we haven't yet.
