I AM A SEASON TICKET HOLDER FOR OVER 10 YEARS, AND HAVE BEEN GOING TO GAMES SINCE I COULD WALK. I WAS VERY FORTUNATE IN THAT MY FAMILY HAS HAD TICKETS IN MY FAMILY FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS DATING BACK TO THE POLO GROUNDS. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN I AM RICH OR EVEN COMFORTABLE FINANCIALLY. THIS IS DISGUSTING AS ANYONE WHO IS A SEASON TICKET HOLDER KNOWS HOW MUCH WE PAY ALREADY. THE CURRENT PARKING SITUATION THERE IS A JOKE WITH THE NEW PARKING LOT BEING BUILT. I BARLEY SCRAPE UP ENOUGH TO PAY FOR MY TICKETS EACH YEAR AND NOW THIS? HOW CAN THIS BE FAIR? THE STADIUM ISN'T IN THAT BAD OF SHAPE CURRENTLY EVEN IF IT IS ONE OF THE OLDER ONES IN THE NFL. NOT TO MENTION ITS ALMOST $8 FOR 1 BEER. AND THERE WILL ONLY BE A FEW MORE SEATS BUT YET THEY'RE DEDICATING ONE WHOLE TIER TO LUXURY BOXES. CHARGE THE RICH DON'T PUNISH THE POOR. WELLINGTON MARA WOULD NOT STAND FOR THIS. FANS WE NEED TO RALLY AND JOIN TOGETHER AND FIGHT THIS! LOOK FOR ME AT SECTION 218 ROW 4 SEATS 11 & 12 WE CAN'T SIT BY AND LET THEM DO THIS TO US.
I'm with you on your complaints, My family has had tickets since 1960, and we know that either this season or next will be the last we have them. I really didn't think this team would go down this road
This is not uncommon in sports. Look what happened to boxing and how anything good went onto closed circuit and now ppv.
There is an easy solution. I feel bad to read what sounds like people crying about their beloved Giants and Jets. Life can go on without going to football games. You can watch them. Everybody should simply refuse to pay for these licenses. It strikes me as juvenile that somebody would actually pay for the right to buy a seat. Let's all grow up.
