	I don't know if Greenspan is a really bad guy or not, but he was in the right place at the wrong time. If you were charged with overseeing Sampson during what happened, you have to pay the price. This was a little long in coming, but the right thing to do. It is time to clean house and that means all the way to the top. I wish this had happened before the NCAA meeting, but maybe we had to have him testify and maybe this is part of the deal. Whatever the case, I feel a little bit better being an IU fan today. Once more day to weather when the sanctions come down, but after that, things are starting to look better.

	With the new infraction allegation there was absolutely no way Greenspan could keep his job through that. I've been saying he should've been fired for months now, so FINALLY! I'm just sad to see him leave in December, not immediately!

	Another contract that we can "thank" Herbert for....he extended Greenspan's contract after forcing Sampon's hire. Sept '07, Herbert extended Greeny to 2013. Now, we have to "buy" him out too to the tune of $441K. WOW. Wish I could get that kind of "golden parachute". Now, it is basically a clean sweep of the Cellvin days. Keith

	Greenspan was definitely put in the same position as Kelvin was. Rick Greenspan had to resign. So glad he did...

	About freaking time. I am a huge hoosier fan and see that some football fans are upset but really Greenspan brought negative attention to the university. Lack of control was right and he needed to go, two years ago. He did bring Hep in and has made improvements but his time was up. Hopefully we get an AD that continues the building of the new arena and renevating of memorial stadium. Also maybe the new one can have some control over the athletic department and keep the president out. GO HOOSIERS!!!!!

	Greenspan should have been gone for hiring Sampson in the first place. Bring back Bobby for AD.... and we won't have to worry about any more violations.
