i don't know where you live, but for me

San Antonio (pronounced /ˌsænænˈtoʊnioʊ/) is the second-largest city in the state of Texas and the seventh largest city in the United States. Located in South Texas, the city is a cultural gateway into the American Southwest. San Antonio is the seat of Bexar County with a population just under 1.3 million as of the 2006 U.S. Census estimate, as well as the 4th fastest growing large city in the nation from 2000-2006 in terms of percentage. [1] Its metropolitan area has a population of over 1.9 million and is the 28th-largest metropolitan area in the U.S.

1.3 million people is not a small market! the Spurs play in a pretty large city if you ask me.

is that why the Giants won last year? or is Foxboro considered a large market and why the Patriots have won 4 of the last 10 or so?

let's see, the Heat have won and Miami

is a city of With a population of over 404,048, Miami is the largest city within the Miami metropolitan area, which is the fourth-largest urban area in the United States with over 5.59 million residents.

so if you are accurate, Miami is much smaller than San Antonio. Cleveland has

As of the 2000 Census, the city proper had a total population of 478,403, and was then the 33rd largest city in the nation [6] and the second largest city in Ohio. It is the center of Greater Cleveland, the largest metropolitan area in Ohio, which spans several counties and is defined in several different ways by the Census Bureau. The Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor Metropolitan Statistical Area which in 2000 ranked as the 23rd largest in the United States with 2,250,871 people. Cleveland is also part of the larger Cleveland-Akron-Elyria Combined Statistical Area, which in 2000 had a population of 2,945,831, and ranked as the country's 14th largest. [7]

so are the cities themselves considered when you say small market? or the metro area? they are two vastly different issues. if that is true, then why is the NBA leaving Seattle at

In 2006, the city had an estimated population of 582,174 [1] and an estimated <a title="Table of United States Metropolitan Statistical Areas" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_United_States_Metropolitan_Stat istical_Areas"> metropolitan area population of approximately 4 million. [2] Seattle is the hub and largest city of the Seattle metropolitan area, often called Puget Sound, which also includes Tacoma, Bellevue, and Everett.

for Oklahoma City which is

Oklahoma City is the capital of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The county seat of Oklahoma County, [3] the city is the 30th largest in the United States [4] The city's estimated population as of 2006 was 537,734[1], with a 2006 estimated population of 1,192,989[2] in the metropolitan area. In 2007, the Oklahoma City-Shawnee Combined Statistical Area had a population of 1,262,027 residents

just some thoughts.

I noticed you were from San Diego.  My brother has lived out there for 20 years and I usually visit him once a year.  I plan on moving there(its my dream climate) soon.  What's the housing market like?lots of houses for sale, but no buyers....too high prices and people cannot afford them in this market.....plenty available though....transplant city of the world
