I'm surprised nobody picked up on the article Peter King wrote about TJ's future status as a Bengal. According to good old Marv TJ's days may be numbered. This is due to the fact that the Bengals may not be able to afford what he can get as a free agent. Any thoughts? I'd hate to see him go.

I like TJ but honestly he will be asking for way too much money.

That and the fact he will be 31 years old when the season starts leads me to believe he has peaked. Last year was by far his best year but before that he did not exactly have a stellar career.

I think we are looking to the future and that future starts now.

I think we'd all hate to see him go but it looks like the Bengals are starting to rebuild their wide out core with serious young talent.  If TJ asks too much I don't think we'd take him up on it.  I don't really think he would make for a good #1 WR.  He wouldn't be able to handle the double coverage.

Yeah. I don't really see him coming back. I think it depends though on how well this season turns out. Who knows for sure? The Bengals are dropping people like flies, which I'm okay with.

I love TJ and wish him well in his career. I just hope he has a stellar year this year!

I do believe he intends to have a monster year! Hopefully things can work themselves out.

I'd like to see him continue to say good things about the organization, play with that serious chip on his shoulder, have a great year, and sign with a team that has a chance to contend for a SuperBowl.

T.J. has shown one Bengals fans one thing: If you run precise routes and aren't afraid to go over the middle, Carson will get you the ball. The Bengals can get those types of players in the draft or on the cheap. It's about time some of the money went to the defense.
