Porchwolf, I hear what your saying, but I respectfully disagree. First off I don't know anything about the Bengals being smart or anything remotely related to having any sense.
The fact that the Bengals (who have had his back despite being suspended two years) just released him is not a good sign.
The Bengals cut him because he didn't return to OTA's one day after his grandmother passed. Now this lady raised him since he was 10 years old after his mother died. I know they had his back when he was suspended, but do you think it's fair he had only one day to grieve for someone who raised them? I think the Bengals are getting a little ahead of themselves. Dropping Chris Henry I could see, however he hasn't been found guilty yet. Kind of like what's going on with Cedric Benson, it was assumed that the Bears were going to drop him, and then some different accounts of what went down started to come up and now the Bears are sticking with him for the time being. In any event, I don't see a problem with seeing what could happen with Thurman. Give him one of those incentive laden deals with some behavorial clauses in there. Low Risk, high reward. The kid was out 2 years and didn't get into any trouble, to me that says he is trying to walk the straight path.
