Mark it in the books, we won a game by scoring less than four runs. it only took us 44 games to do it. Wow, good job guys.

Defense giveth and defense taketh away. Excellent play by Pudge in the eighth tonight to turn two. Is there any doubt Matt Joyce should be the full time left fielder ( at least with righties throwing ) any more. Also another excellent outing by Texas Rangers castoff Armando Galarraga. Although he had some walks tonight leading to both runs scored against him. Tigers have now won 5 of the 6 games he has started. Still has a whip of 1.00 by far the best on the team. So this week the starters have QS in 4 of the 5 starts which is a refreshing change. Especially with back to back good starting efforts against the team with the best record in baseball.

I'm telling you guys...Dombrowski will trade Armando Galarraga to the Marlins for Mike Rabelo, Jeff Conine, and an autographed picture of Tito Fuentes.

Got to see Cabrera play first close up tonight. He isn't just a bad firstbaseman as far as firstbaseman go....he is bad 1B as people go. I was about ready to jump out of the stands myself and fill in as a defensive replacement in the 9th.

IT will be VERY interesting to see what happens in the next two weeks to our favorite team. You can fire coaches, move players around, drop players, etc., but how do you change any attitude?

The loyal fans of Detroit "love" their Tigers (maybe too much). Let's hope the team leaders LEAD!!!!!!!!!!!
