I wanna give a pre-emptive SIMMA to all us Reds fans. I just got back from the Angels Dodgers game and I am sunburned all to hell but it doesnt matter. Why? REDS WIN REDS WIN that's why!!!

But here comes the simma, while we are free to hoop, holla, clap our hands and maybe even sacrifice a virgin, what we better not be doing, as fans, is over stepping our boundaries because a a little 5 game win streak.

Lets keep our composure. Let us not visit other teams message boards talking trash. Let us not get crazy and say things like we are on our way to the World Series. Lets keep this in perspective, root our team on tooth and nail, and hope to continue winning series because we still got a good hike in front of us.

GO REDS!!!! but lets be cool about it.

Im with ya' Grudge. This five game winn streak was a much needed boost to the Reds psychy. As well as it is for the fans. We do have to realize that we are now only tied for last place in the NL Central, but hopefully moving up. A win streak is a great thing. Something not to be messed with. Lets not go messing up the mojo now Reds fans. Let's stay the course, and root on our Reds with a little class. The Reds face a very tough battle today against Cliff Lee. A win against him would really validate this run. Lets hope Dusty can put together a game plan for some good ole' National League smallball. Get em' on, get em' over, and get em' in!

Go Reds

Kinda like in football...when you score a TD, don't celebrate...act like you've been there before.  It's great that the Reds have a streak going, but wouldn't it be nice if this is something Reds fans should expect?  Going into each game I expect them to win or at least win the series!  Obviously, I know that's not realistic.  I have high hopes...with the talent on this team, they should be closer to the top of the division.

GO REDS!

Not even a chance at the virgin thing, here....

Probably can't  find one in Cincinnati / Northern KY anyway, but if you could, everyone knows Dusty can't execute a sacrifice anyway...

I like the win streak, but understand what a NL West roadie usually does to those. Nice to catch Penny and Peavy both hurting though. Nice to see Dunn hitting the ball out of the yard- think Dusty might drop him to 8th now?

I guess the humility of going from that RBI guy to the guy batting 7th finally put a fire under his ass...

Im glad to see that

how about this janish kid? He's impressed me everytime Ive seen him...

Totally agree.  Mojo is definitely something you don't want to mess with.  I think we killed our mojo in the first few weeks of the season but it caught up with us and we got swept by the Pirates... Now we need to take it in stride, root for our Reds but respect the other teams we come up against.  The Padres may have the worst record in baseball right now but they are still a professional baseball team.  As fans we need to go into that game knowing that this is a team that could beat us, even if they have a worse record.  I know, it's easy to go to another board and talk trash but we do have to realize that we aren't in first place and we have a long way to go in order to get some real respect out there.

Brewers fans are good at it, though.

The Padres are not supposed to be bad, so seeing as their record is, something would indicate they are capable of winning some games.

We need to get past Houston first and run down the Cardinals next.

Gotta win 4 or 5 games on this swing to make that happen.
