For the up and coming season, Purdue has a scheduled meeting with Duke in the ACC/Big Ten Challange at home at Mackey Arena. Purdue has had great, yet bittersweet success against Duke in it's history. With a record of 4-1 against the Blue Devils, Their only loss to Duke came in the 1994 NCAA Tournament. That season, the Boilers were led by a group of juniors in Glenn Robinson and Cuonzo Martin. That very game also kept Purdue from reaching the final four, which hasn't happened since 1969. When Purdue plays Duke at home this coming season, We'll just see if this group of "sophmores" in E'twaun Moore and Robbie Hummel can get over the hump that the "big dog' couldnt get over. Well let's not forget about the last meeting between the two teams. The #1 ranked Duke team was upset in the Anchorage Alaskan Shootout by Willie Deane, Kenny Lowe and the Boilermakers!
